I went to the Emergency room one night because I had been diagnosed with Mononucleosis and my symptoms grew increasingly worse. First off, the Triage Nurse was so incredibly rude, and being someone who is petrified of Hospitals and anything related to medical practices, i tried to make light of the situation and crack a joke. Either it was a really bad joke, but this nurse was incredibly rude. When I finally saw a Dr. he wouldn't even come near me because he didn't want to catch mono. like. what? slap a mask on or something? i aint gonna cough on you pal. so to much avail, he was no help. just, save yourself and please don't go to this hospital. I have many stories about this place and none are all that positive. Its called the Misery for a reason.

I went in last Saturday to urgent care and reported my symptoms which were obviously for a torn retina. I arrived at 5pm and only got to see a doctor at 12.45 am. I reminded the nurses a few times that I was waiting. I think that the triage nurse showed incompetence in keeping me waiting so long when my symptoms were so obvious that I could have seen a doctor and got a referral to, and seen, an eye specialist that same day. I was now only able to see eye specialists the following afternoon and had surgery early Sunday evening. I am very upset how the urgent care incompetence put my vision at risk. The eye specialists I saw were very competent.

Doctors in the ER here always misdiagnose! I've never once gone into ER here and left as a settled customer. I've even gone here to have x-rays done several times on non ER related medical services. The staff here are all incompetent. Misery is in the name of the hospital after all, eh?

This place is a joke. I went in with chest pains, trouble breathing, and heavy dizzy/dissociation spells from a bad panic attack. I was not given anything to curb the symptoms, and I waited for 6+ hours as I watched countless others come in after me and leave before me, who looked in much less "pain". When I was eventually taken to the back to sit in a private room to wait, I was waiting for another 1.5 - 2 hours! I calmly and politely reminded them about me (its very hard to stay polite and calm when you're experiencing intense panic). They said "very soon, you're the next patient" and 45 minutes passed. I went to the front again and they said "very soon" and 30 minutes passed. This experience caused a spike in my anxiety levels to the point where I had to leave. So when all was said and done, I wasn't even seen by a doctor and I went home to deal with my panic through self medication. So, depending what you want or expect from this place, it may not be for you.

I have had a mixed experience there in my one time attending this facility. The triage staff assumed I had had a panic attack when I described an extreme episode of tachycardia, trouble breathing, and total loss of sensation from arms to fingers. My blood pressure was quite elevated, my heart rate was over 120, yet I was mentally pretty calm. I was triaged as least important and waited four hours-after the minorly twisted ankles and sore throats. As soon as the doctor listened to my heart, I have never seen people move so fast. I had an EKG, an X-ray, blood work, and a referral for an echocardiogram within half an hour. Turns out I had a congenital heart valve problem, which led to the diagnosis of a genetic condition that I should have been diagnosed with in childhood. SO...the triage was bad, but the ACTUAL care once started probably will have saved my life, not to mention my fertility.

Nurses are the best in the city. Well trained and very compassionate. Most Physicians are kind and knowledgable but the nurses obviously do all the caregiving and are very skilled!

It is too bad that it was decommissioned as Hospital. But now is the only 24 hr. walk-in In the city : you may have to wait a while but the care and service is still very good. it would be great if The Sisters still ran this place they were 1st class.
