My uncle was taking by ambulance (stroke victim). He was coherent when taken in but in less then a he couldn't feed himself or communicate. My family tried and tried to have him transported to UK but we were told by three doctors that it was not necessary. After 3 weeks he was moved to Lafollete Medical Center where they found he had pneumonia and a UTI within hours of his arrival. However, the infection was so bad that he passed within the first 24 hours. Lake Cumberland is a terrible facilty and if they can't discover a three week old uti I certainly do not recommend anyone trusting them with their life.
HORRIBLE, I was warned when I moved their by people that have lived their 30 years!
