Hospital is horrible. We think it's disgusting and only went there because our doctors have privileges there. Our daughter was very sick when she was admitted, and after three weeks came out worse off. We went to Joe DiMaggio after, and the difference is night and day. The staff is so kind and really seems to are about their patients. The doctors are smart and and take the time to figure out what is wrong with the child and make every effort to make them feel better. There was one doctor who actually told our daughter she thought she was lying about her pain. At Joe DiMaggio the doctor figured out what was causing her pain and is treating her for it.

There is no doctor worth the horrifying experience of letting your child go to Holtz children's hospital in Miami. It's awful and unsafe on the outside (many homeless and shady characters begging for money- very uncomfortable when you have little ones in tow) and just as traumatizing for the kids on the inside.

The rooms are very dirty, even the ones in the Miami Heat section, and are definitely not thoroughly sanitized. If you get stuck on the other floor, you feel feel so gross while you are there. Their playroom is almost never open.

Their hospital food is disgusting, the only place to eat food that taste decent is Au Bon Pan, unfortunately a bit of a walk and limited hours of operation.

I can only hope my child is never in a situation where she has to be there again, she hated it so much.

I can tell you she is happy now at Joe DiMaggion, thankfully. We have always come here and the recent experience at Jackson reminds us why.

Unclean and unsanitary. Rude staff. No one cares, the least the doctors.

The worst hospital. Doctors are completely incompetent and have extremely poor etiquette. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Larissa Albert one of the worst MDs working here. Terrible bedside manners and an unhealthy addiction to makeup! She looks like a clown!!! You cannot miss her!

Excellent service, knowledgeable staff, not pressured for payment as Baptist or UM hospital, accepts patients without first evaluating financial status, the competing hospitals ask for payments before your medical complains. Made diagnosis with appropriate treatment, I will highly recommend this hospital.

Old building, they do a fair job keeping it clean. Staff is overall nice. I was in for almost 3weeks. ICU nurses were amazing. Food is worst ever, must be worse than what they serve in prisons. Medical care wise no complaints.

This is THE Worst Hospital in the state... most likely the country, filthy, nurses are uncaring ****es, and leave these sick patients in their own waste for hours. My poor husband was a patient there for 2 months, they could not even diagnose his illness and all I heard was this is the best place for him. No one should be subject to this teaching hospital, these DR's should all be patients themselves in this place so they would know what it is like. I suffered right along with my husband, no one ever called me to discuss my husbands condition except the residents. They are not Dr's yet they were 1st year residents and when I asked for a DR to call me they said they do not make calls. Well I wish each and every one of them the same illness my husband had. Uncaring people, and the most disgusting place... Dog's are fed better then the food they give the patients. They should be ashamed.
