This was a great hospital at one time but has gone downhill ,Geisinger owns it now and is more focused on adding on to the building than providing good care

My family member was in a bad car accident was transported to the ER and he was covered in blood the nurses didn't even bother to wash in up at all they sent him home like that. His nose started pouring out blood from injuries sustained in accident and I called for a nurse she says oh give him a tissue he was disoriented from head trauma. Then when he was finally coming too still disoriented his mouth was all dry blood just like the rest of his body and he asked for a cup of water the nurse told me there's a vending machine out in the waiting area. I couldn't believe they wouldn't give him a cup of water I've never ever experienced that before. I've been a nurse for twenty years and k can't imagine ever treating patients the way my family was treated! At 8am they were too busy talking about their weekend plans and what they want to order for lunch then to tend to a patient. Shame on them!!!!
