It was a very good nice hospital experience the staff were friendly and helpful

A person yelled at me in downtown red deer for what I said online. I need to put things down from my perspective. Apparently a few people here like to use this site to troll people. In the process something was said that was initially been ok with but I repeated it to the wrong person. All of a sudden I’m this mean man. I thought she’s the one that let me say it idk maybe she’s online drunk as I came to the hospital the next day for overtaking Imodium and laughed at her and she had the look of pure terror and worry. She’s my favourite person In the world right now. I never wanted to do no harm. She thinks I’m mentally and she’s correct probably. But online she treated me in a way I never expected and it made me so sad. She comes off nice and gentle and in a way she is maybe. But it was like dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde . I’ve seen the mask come off and it was extremely traumatizing. I forgive her and want her not to hate me and I want her to think well of me. But what happened to me left me not ok forever. I keep breaking down in tears I can’t barely live. I’m never gonna trust anyone or feel safe again. No one knows what really happened. I will never go back. Also my mom died when I was 11 and she was going to be a nurse before she got cancer. I don’t have a job as I did go to trans voc but I got an iq lower than 62 and I’m autistic. And I’ve met Alyssa Erfurt I think as she works at the college and is the one who told me to not overconsume energy drinks. Not she has anything to do with this but she’s in that social circle. I’m a good person I think. Or maybe I’m not I can’t recall what happened my brain feels nimb and I am unaware of what’s going on or what I’m doing. That’s the best I can explain it. I beg to be treated human. Maybe I don’t know what happened maybe it’s my fault idk I can’t remember or process anything. I’m scared and want to be sent to a mental hospital for life so I can be safe.

Dr. Bastiampillai is an awesome doctor. Did an add-on TURP surgery after his regular long day. Super nice, friendly, and very caring. All the nurses were very caring and friendly. Awesome staff.

A lot of the nurses are so mean and i know they are just working but they dont care if you hear them bullying you thats just fun to them. they dont care about you they almost see patients as enterainment.

Nightmare. They don't care and it's obvious. The emergency culture is toxic and they could care less.

I recently had the pleasure of having an emergency gall bladder removal at Red Deer Hospital. During my 4 days/nights stay I had absolutely exemplary care from the dozens of nurses the entire time I was there. Some of them worked very long hours waiting for their relief to come in. The lab techs that came to take blood were so quick and skilled I barely knew they were there. The part that was the most meaningful for me was the way the surgical team would come to my bedside every morning, to see how I was doing, to introduce the surgeon of the day as well as the rest of the team, and to let me know I was on their list for the day as long as no other more urgent emergency surgeries came up. They were friendly and professional even though they were being paged and pulled in all directions. Thank you all for making my situation as comfortable and positive as it could have been!

Horrible service very disrespectful staff and Doctors in pediatric unit. Doctor Brandon is Not a good Doctor he does Not help you in your medical needs. He doesn't even listen to your concerns. He is only there to make more problems. He does Not help with anything. He's very rude and mean. He likes to ruin families. Please go to a different hospital where they actually CARE and respect you and are NOT bullies. This Doctor has No knowledge of children development and does NOT care for you or your child !!!!

This hospital is a joke!! My girlfriend went in at midnight to emergency, she sat there till 1 in the afternoon before any one would help her!! The when she got in they refuse to give her any pain medicine!! She had gull stone the size of quarters!! It was over 12 hour before they FINALLY gave her something for the pain. After a few hours she was is in extreme pain. They told her she has to wait!! Like what the hell!!So she waiting in pain and it goes past the time frame for more medicine. The declined to get her more!! So she ask if she could have at least some normal Tylenol!! And the said it was ok cause it was past the four hours and she could get more. So we wait, I see the people beside use and they just have HEADACHES and they we’re giving pain medicine when ever they needed it!! So we waited and and hour goes by and the two and then three hours of waiting for Tylenol they still never gave it to her!! So we ask again and then they said yea ok we’ll get you some. Another two hours go by and nothing NOTHING!! And by this time it time for another needle of pain medicine. She asked and they DENIED it!!so obviously she’s upset cause she in some much pain!! She get upset about her treatment. I seen all these other people with just minor headaches get medicine and leave. She get mad and the they even Denied her the medicine she takes every day. So now we are both really Really furious and start voicing our Opinion and they blamed use for there incompetence. Then security comes in and act like he’s god gift to the hospital. And tells us to leave!! They denied her health care!! A damn security Guard did this!! So we said fine we’ll go to a different hospital!!! So as we are leaving she Collapses out side. So I run to get the car cause the er parking is full because of headache people!! So I get me car and go and get her. And the Chinc security Guardcomes up and start harassing her laughing at her and belittling her. Like what the FUCK!!! It isn’t the system that’s broken it’s the loser people!! How could you treat someone in that much pain like shit!!I hope all the nurses and security guard in emergency get in some much pain like she was and I hope they are Deniedlike she was I how they never get the help they deserve!!! If they treat people like that I hope everyone of the female dogs and losers get fired!! We are lodging complaints we every person we can for the hospital board to the mla and I will do everything I can to get these people pay for their actions and treatment of people. I wouldn’t take my dead dog to these female dogs!!

April 19 , took my mother in to ER as she has dementia and she seemed to have lost all strength, couldn’t get up couldn’t walk without assistance, more confused than normal , we got there at 12:30pm and we sat in the waiting area for 11 hours , my mother is 76 years old , she hadn’t ate or slept that whole time , when I approached them after 9 hours she said oh there’s just two people that are a head of you , they then called in people that were there after us , as I said 11 hours later we finally got in ! There was also a elderly lady that came in a few hours after us with a note from her doctor that said she had an appendicitides and needed to be admitted upon arrival , well she was still sitting there when we went in , so I would say she was there 8 hours when I was there without been seen by a doctor!

was taken to Red Deer ER with severe hypertension, previously fit and healthy. Physician disregarded familial stroke history and told b me I had benign vertigo with BP 220/120. Had ears syringed and 6 BP measurement over 10 hours. My vertigo turned out to be a cerebellar stroke that was untreated .
