In May of 2008 Dr Wei-Peng Kuo butchered me. She was to perform a routine umbilical hernia surgery. After the surgery I went home and within 6 hours I looked 9 months pregnant because My stomach was filling with blood and I would have slowly bled to death had I fallen asleep and not noticed . She has cut my rectus muscle during surgery. I understand things can happen BUT WAIT IT GETS WORSE. She meets us at the hospital to open me up once again to stop the bleed. Instead of just stitching up my incision as any good surgeon would have she decided to experiment on me WITHOUT MY CONSENT SHE ROLLED MY INCISION LIKE A BURRITO. I went to her office a few days later very concerned about this deformity and to have the stitches removed. Her partner saw me because she was away on vacation. Her partner wanted to remove the stitches and called Dr. Kuo. Dr. Kuo told her no she would remove in two more days when she returned.
Six years later it looks like have two belly buttons and you can see all the scars from the stitches because my skin had grown over them due to her not allowing them to be removed on time.
She refused to take my calls for four years and all I wanted was $5,000 to pay for reconstructive surgery so I could wear a bikini again and feel attractive.
DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN NEAR YOU. SHE IS A QUACK AND HER LICENSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN REVOKED YEARS AGO!!!!!!

As a previous patient of two years, though competent and friendly employees are there, I found Providence Hospital overall to have an acute bully culture from the top down. It is also near impossible to contact via phone, they on more than one occasion neglected to call in prescriptions, and the support staff and management is very rude and disrespectful -- answering valid complaints with personal attacks rather than honest introspection so as to provide better patient care. Hence, I do NOT reccomend this hospital.
