Been having issues with my back and spine. As well as with bladder and bowel incontinence. He blows me off, even tho he has showed me my.images and said that my screws from my fusion are damaged or our of place from a fall and also said he needs to fuse one level higher. But the past few months he treats me like what I'm saying is a lie and even tried saying I call weekly to complain of something or another, whichbis false. I only call because I've been waiting almost 8 weeks for a ct scan that's needed to see if my.back is okay for surgery. then he has the nerve to say well my PA states other wise, but we dont have your chart, so they can't see I haven't been calling to complain about symptoms or issues. Office staff never calls back, they leave patients on hold for 15 plus minutes, they don't relay measages. Doctor Nagy even didn't call me back when I called recently regarding a very urgent matter. Then he treated me like i was lying and that what I was experiencing was nothing. Brushed it off and said I need a different specialty to look at me, stated I have an appointment, demanded to know who and when, I said I cant prounounce his name and it's either last week of April or first week of may, and he got mad because I didn't have information on me while laying in pain in bed. He told me back in January 2015 he wanted me to see a specialist but refused to make referral. I had to have another doctor refer me. And now he is mad that the appt hasn't hapenned yet I can't force another provider toner me instantly. New patient appointments were months out. I am hoping to find another surgeon. This doctor never used to be like this, he used to be awesome, caring and nothing like he is now...i don't know what his issue is. But if he keeps blowing me off and not being a doctor, when i find a new doctor who diagnoses what he's been blowing off, i will be possibly seeking legal action.

Amazing doctor. Smart, compassionate, and attentive. Saw things on my friends MRI that other neurosurgeons missed. Clearly thinks outside the box and takes great pride in the work he does.

I was recently in the office and was disgusted with Dr Nagy. He is horrible to his staff. The way he speaks to them is ridiculous and very disrespectful. Even the way he speaks to his PA shocked me. The ladies in the front were very sweet and helpful. I had an issue with my Copay and why it increased seeing this specific doctor. The office biller came out and pulled me into her office to discuss it in detail. I was very impressed with her way of handling the situation. It was private so the other people did not hear my business. Out of every doctor I have seen I never experienced that. The staff was very respectful and professional. Dr Nagy not only talks to his staff with such disrespect he even talks to his patients very arrogantly. In my eyes he is a typical doctor that because he wears a white coat and has the initials MD behind his name he can treat people the way he does. Not only do I not like this doctor I do not like his medical assistant that took me and my wife into the room. As a 54 year old man I found it very unprofessional that I was called honey and baby. Then to leave the room to hear it be said to the doctor. I thought they taught individuals that study medicine how to speak properly and respectful to their patients. This doctor failed that course.

Had surgery for trigeminal neuralgia and things were terrible. His staff are beyond bad. I had to have a second surgery because of a csf leak. Had infections after both surgeries. He was very slow to call in an infectious disease dr. And took 2 months to refer me to a pain management to patch another csf leak in my spine. Another surgeon told me he sees far too many of Nagys patients because of infections. I spent almost a month in the hospital and saw him once. Saw his assistant twice. Nurses were extremely frustrated because he wouldn't return their calls. Finally had to go to ucla . Probably going to have another surgery. I would strongly discourage anyone that is considering him.

Dr Nagy spent plenty of time talking about my options. My only complaint is that the front office staff is horrible. They we better on my most recent visit when the whole front office staff was replaced

Staff is atrocious. Apparently there has been some turn over and there is no longer a surgery scheduler. Since he is a SURGEON, this fact is very detrimental to quality patient care.

Very good surgeon who is engaged with you through the process as well has his PA. I've had two surgeries before and found surgeons to be distant, cold and arrogant. It was refreshing to see a surgeon who was confident and compassionate. When I was in a brace before my surgery, I actually had a person in public come up to me and ask what was wrong. When I told them they asked who my surgeon was. When I told them it was Nagy they lit up and told me they had been to him too and had a great experience. This was really nice to hear and not expected walking around with a brace before my surgery.

Dr. Nagy changed my husband's life by performing spinal surgery. He is a gifted surgeon who feels compassion and conducts himself professionally at all times. I would highly recommend.
