My surgery with the doctor was in 2003 for a breast augmentation. I had excellent results for 13 years until I had to take them out for a necessary double mastectomy due to cancer. Though I can only speak to my own experience I am shocked that others have had such a bad experience and urge people to remember there's always two sides. I have recently returned to have a consult because I am having pain and am unhappy with the current implants that the hospital doctor put in. Upon greeting me he shook my hand and expressed concern for my previous history. He remembered having seen me before and he asked about my husband. Dr. Delvecchio explained my options and took the time to address my concerns. He has never once mentioned his Harvard degree in any of our appts. We have another appt in a couple weeks so I can ask more questions and we can finalize the preprocedure requirements. I am sorry others had such a bad experience but I absolutely trust this doctor.

DO NOT GO TO DR. DELVECCHIO! Most of these reviews were not on here when I had my surgery but I wish they were! I had the worst results from my BA. I am not one to normally write reviews but it's important to warn others. He over dissected one of my pockets which resulted in one of my implants sitting a lot lower than the other (and lower than my where my natural chest sat). He never followed up with me the day of surgery, but when I went in for my follow up, I had to point it out to him and all he said was it was because I still had swelling and tried to push my other one lower. When I was fully healed, I went back to point out the huge difference once again and he was insulted that I wasn't happy and made me feel like I shouldn't be complaining (even though I had symmetry BEFORE surgery which he just ruined). He offered me two solutions - 1. Surgery to 'try' and fix but no guarantee 2. He can take them out - I was shocked by his response! Please don't go to him! Take my word for it!

STAY AWAY-I was forced into fat grafting and now have dents all over my body and painful large lumps in both breasts from the fat grafting they are so painful and large my breast not soft like they used to be because of the lumps. You will see. If you come in for any surgery he willprobably ask u about your breasts and sell you on the fat trasnfer. You will leave feeling sorry for urself. I did not want the fat grafting but talked into it and now horrible lipo results and painful breasts. Very rude, staff is very rude especially his assistant? office manager maybe not sure. She is so rude and blunt and un private about everything she even was arguing withhim one day and talking down to him. I dont know what is going on in this overpriced facility they dont treat you like a customer and doesn't seem caring. The result on my breast looks uneven, horible lipo, dents allover, painful lumps -I would nto reocmmend!!!! It Boston you should take your business elsewhere tosomeone who cares more.

I am very surprised by some of these reviews. I went to Dr. DelVecchio in April to talk about Breast Augmentation. I had a long wait for my appointment but it was well worth it. I told him what I wanted and what I was afraid of and he gave me 4 different options and explained the pros and cons of each. I chose fat grafting to breast and also had to wear the bravo system. My surgery had to be pushed back because I hadn't expanded enough, but when I had the surgery two weeks later the results were well worth the wait. I can't imagine getting this done with anyone else. I think he invented this procedure and he really is the best.

My experiences with Doctor Daniel Delvecchio did not even get to the stage of even having surgery and I am grateful that it did not get their. It all starter with my first visit to the office when he walk in the door he entered the examination room and showed no type of manners. When I reach out my hands to greet him he walk passed me and just took my field case, I felt like such a subject not a patient. A good doctor takes time to listen to what their client has for goals and expectation. Any time I would express myself on what I wanted and expected he would dismissed my opinion, almost talking down to me instead of consulting on what was possible. He started talking to me like a child, in the process saying that he was going to give up my operation day to someone else’s as punishment for not using the machine. "As punishment" can you believe that?, how unprofessional, how rude, how disrespected I felt.

I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Delvecchio. I chose him after consults with numerous other doctors. The ratings here are surprising to me, and I can only speak to how my experience went. He is a very confident man, and it can come across as arrogance at times. I was never offended by it. I think the most important quality about a surgeon is knowledge and the advise they give you. He is absolutely amazing. I would not go back and choose another doctor if my life depended on it. His technique must be so clean and methodical. I felt almost no pain when I awoke. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I'm over the moon about the results. And yes he charges a consult fee. So do the other doctors in the city. If $100 seems off-putting for you, then you may not want to elect for surgery to begin with. The money goes to your procedure, if you go with him. Good luck on your endeavors with surgery. Hopefully you go with Dr. Delvecchio and have a similar pain-free experience.

I wished I had read these reviews before spending the $100 consultation fee. Dr. Delvecchio struck me as more of a television personality than a professional surgeon. I almost thought I was in with the wrong person or that perhaps I was part of some hoax captured on hidden camera. He was distracted through some of our consult, checking e-mails and making phone calls. Even if he is a good surgeon, I just didn't have a good or trusting feeling about him...

This was my first experience w/cosmetic surgery (breast implants/lift=$9000) and dr was awful at being understanding and comprehensive. I go to a dr to listen to his expert opinion on an area I dont know anything about. He basically asked how big do you want to be? and that's it. I fitted implants over my own, there was no kind of digital image that he could show me (doesnt have the tech I think) how I would look like, I kind of had to figure that out for myself. My implants then became encapsulated, charged me $2500 to remove scarring tissue; not the end, now he opened pocket too much and implant has sunk down, past my own breast, clearly his fault. Now I need another cut/scar b/c he has to repair pocket, and even then, says he cant guarantee it'll be fixed. Oh, and another $650 in "hospital fees". Extremely disapoointed w/staff, dr's expertise, and overall procedure, as "lift" settled lower than I wanted it to. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR USE THIS DOCTOR AGAIN

Don't waste $100 on a consult with this guy like I did. He is rude, arrogant, obnoxious and pushy. I can't speak to how good of a plastic surgeon he is in the technical sense because I didn't actually have surgery by him, but I would never feel comfortable having him cut me open after the way he presents himself at the consult. My only regret is wasting the money on the consult when I could have spent it on a consult with someone else.

He is the most insincere Doctor I have ever met especialy when it come to a very sensitive subject of Breasr reduction. If I didn't have the money upfront to pay him for the operation he really wouldn't spend any time on me during his initial consultation,He is after the money and not his patients. I was most upset with his visit and have every intention of writing him a nasty letter so that he can learn from what other patients also experiened from him in a negativr way. He hurt my feelings and treated me like an imigrant or someone like that woud be. I had Mass. Heath which his office said they could work around and then when I got their i was tole this again--ut when I went into the room he said no to excepting Mass. Health or any Insurance Companys He rally wasn't interested in me as a patient except for the money!!!!!
