As long as you don't question Dr Minehart's procedure happy practice he will prescribe anything you want in any amount. Often you will get a call from his office stating he wants to see you for a procedure of which the nurse has no information about and the Dr has not previously discussed with you. Be careful as he will offer procedures not regularly done at his facilities.

Very caring doctor and will take the time with you. My first visit the doc spent at least 45 minutes with me and every time since he has spent whatever time has been needed...not like most doctors these days.

Dr Minehart is the best pain management doctor I have ever seen. I was dx'd with Fibromyalgia over 15yrs ago and most of the Dr's I have been to either don't know what they are treating or will just subject to drugs that just don't work. Dr Minehart finally found the problem (which was a secondary back issue) and helped me finally get back on my feet. I think the staff go above and beyond your needs as well, even when I was uninsured and could not pay, they helped me. I really think that his attentive nature makes him my favorite Dr! After over 13 Dr's saw me before I got diagnosed and treated by Dr Minehart, I felt like there was no end to my pain. Now I have a better life and have my pain under control instead of the pain controlling me.

Dr. Minehart quickly diagnosed, treated, and relieved my chronic back pain. After being treated by another local pain management doctor who offered no relief, he was recommended by my general practitioner. I have refered friends and family members to him who have also been blessed with relief from different types of pain. He is an extremely compassionate and knowledgeable doctor who takes his time and carefully listens to his patients. A rarity in this day and age.

I was refered to Dr Minehart 3months ago by my neurologist for my back pain. I have been to several Doctors and have just been tossed arround! He was thorough and he somehow obtained all my records from all my other Doctors and also sent me to do further testing and even took the time to communicate w/ my other Drs and for the firs time since my back problems began, i now have answers. And on top of that he treated me with four injections and have been able to have a life again... He is the best arround and worth the wait!

Dr. Minehart has been treating my patient for 6 years. She had a low back pain problem and it is now gone. She has a shoulder problem now. He had provided transportation for her when needed. She has been very happy with her experience with him. She travels from Arcadia to Encino to see him, and I think that says a lot also. I wrote this because I was impressed with what this patient said. Pain management is a difficult area of medicine and it is nice to hear positive outcomes.

Patient could not afford Dr's original script so was prescribed less costly medication yielding greater risk for dependency. Patient developed side effects, asked for help, yet Dr Minehart was unavailable. Patient was told by doctor's nurses to seek care from hospital or primary care physician. Patient complained to Dr Minehart about failure to treat side effects as well as two hour waits during scheduled appointments. Dr Minehart terminated services. Pain management doctors may terminate at any time for any reason. At time of termination, patient was tapered up but denied refill and could not access medication to continue pain relief, so patient was forced to experience pain and difficult withdrawal without doctor's care.

I've been a pain pt for 16 yrs & Dr Mineharts pt for 6 & have seen 5 other pain mgt drs other than him. He is by far the most attentive, knowledgeable, caring pain doc ever. He never stops trying to find an answer. As far as the negative comments, pain pts can be very demanding & often rude & I've seen them yell & scream at the dr & staff. Why should they accommodate such behavior? Pain mgt can be very stressful & I'm sure he has bad days, but I know personally he goes the distance for his patients. He has returned calls at 8:30pm, Fed Ex'd presciptions to me, completed forms w/no charge. He works EVERY day, does surgeries in Encino then drives to Arcadia for appts. He turns no one away. If you are kind to him & his staff, you will receive the same respect back. Yes he has one triplicate day a month, to make it easier for everyone, I've never had a problem getting it if there's a REASONABLE reason I can't make it. If it weren't for him I would be completely nonfunctional. Love them!!

I have been a patient of Dr. MineHart's for over five years, and have only great things to say about him. He is extremely helpful, caring and willing to go the extra mile for his patients. When most other doctors were unable to treat my pain and could do nothing more for me, Dr. MineHart never gave up on me. He is one of the kindest most caring doctors I have ever known.
