This is the first time I have ever felt it necessary to write a comment about a doctor. However, my recent experience, with both Dr. Samadi's office staff, as well as Dr. Samadi himself was extremely bad. I was treated by his office staff in such a rude manner, that I could not believe this was a professional establishment! My son needed surgery for removal of his tonsils and adnoids. I was called the day before the scheduled surgery, and was informed that I had to pay upfront because the surgery was happening in his surgical facility, rather than the hospital. I was told that if I didn't pay up front, the surgery would be cancelled. The staff was so rude, that it was shocking! I was told that the surgery was to be at 1:30 the following day, and my son was not taken in till after 4. The Dr. was cold and insensitive to my concerns for my son. I would absolutely never recommend this Dr to anyone!

the office does not see patient at the appointed time. Almost every visit, I had to wait an hour beyond my appointment to be seen. They do not help patient with insurance claims. I had to pay first and do all the work to claim insurance. The office do not return emails.

Don't confuse what you "think" is arrogance with knowledgeable and confident. Dr Daniel Samadi is a compassionate and understanding doctor who is also very professional. He is TOPS my children are very comfortable with him and he proformed surgery on my daughter with skilled caring hands. He is very thorough in his explaination and will explain numerous times if need be. I would not hesitate recommending Dr Samadi to anyone and would use him again and again if need be. Thank you to a TOP doctor and his staff for treating us like his only patient !

Fantastic, knowledgeable, thorough and careful doctor. I came to Dr. Samadi for a second opinion and was so happy I did. He took his time explaining and discussing options, offered his professional and personal (I asked) opinion, and was supportive of the decisions I made. My son had a tongue tie and I debated on whether to get it snipped right away, or wait. Dr. Samadi was very caring after the procedure and even called us later that evening at home just to check on my son. I would recommend him to anyone. The offices and waiting room were also very clean and kid friendly.

I don't understand the negative comments, yes, he is very serious but he's the most knowledgable doctor you can think of, he does all the testing right there in one appointment and he doesn't choose surgery as the first option, he always likes to try treatment first. We've been going to see him for 7 years now and the new office is spacious, waiting time has improved and he can also help with hearing aids. He answers email and after hours phone calls right away, I don't know what else someone could ask for.

Worst Doctors office visit experience ever. The most rude, arrogant, unhelpful staff and Doctor.

While Dr. Samadi may come off initially like a good physician, his rude and uncooperative office staff, as well as Dr. Samadi's apathy and "oh really?, I don't get involved" attitude when it comes to them, is enough to seek out a different doctor altogether. The office staff makes billing a migraine, making an appointment a chore, and forget about reimbursement, that becomes a months-long ordeal that in this case, led to threats of police involvement due to our following up one too many times to get our money back....in short, there's a scam going on there, the office steals your money to the point where even insurance companies are surprised, and makes any retribution an impossible task. Rumor has it that he's no longer affiliated with Hackensack Medical Center due to the way he conducts business. I would seek out another doctor! If you're on the fence, trust me, it's not worth it. They don't take secondary insurance, demand copay up front, and you'll never get your money back.

What do you want in a doctor - a doctor that is an expert but has no social skills OR a doctor that is mediocre with good skills. Dont go to this doctor if you want a warm/caring doctor, your not going to get it. His office is always late, usually we spend 30+ minutes waiting after scheduled appointment.

Dr Daniel Samadi has been an excellent doctor to both my children. I met him when My son Matthew had to have the following procedures. A tonsilectomy, adenoidectomy and insertion of tubes in his ears. I cannot begin to tell you how good and thorough this doctor is. Although sometimes his office is busy and I have to wait. I do not mind. He is more than worth the wait. He is a dedicated caring doctor who’s very attentive and his genuine main concern is to keep kids healthy and feeling well. My son’s problem could of turned to serious one had it not been for the doctor’s assessment and careful diagnosis of the problem. I am very confident that he took the proper steps to make it right for my son. If you want a caring , knowledgeable, and Highly Skilled doctor then Dan is your man. He is also very detailed in the decision making as to how to proceed with a plan for your pertinent procedure. He is my doctor of choice. In conclusion, I believe that Dr Samadi is a great ENT.
