I live with MS and a thyroid condition and I've experienced years of dismissal since moving to Canada. When I saw Dr Ryan, he made me feel like my concerns were heard and immediately referred me to all the specialists necessary to check my thyroid and because of that I started taking medication that drastically changed my life. My thyroid was affecting my MS and making me unable to walk or function at all, and because of Dr Ryan's questions and the fact that he chose to believe me, I am now able to walk and live my life to the fullest. I only saw him that one time, but it was a time that changed everything for me. He was kind, professional, asked follow-up questions and took his time, sharing his thought process and what his plan was. I am so incredibly thankful.

I had not seen Dr. Ryan for 5 years as he had left for Ireland to care for his father in 2020. I saw him fortuitously at the Sturgeon Walk-In clinic yesterday. He remembered me after 5 years, comprehensively assessed my presenting concern and sent me for bloodwork to ensure I was not put on antibiotics for no good reason. He is honestly the best doctor I have ever had and I sincerely wish he would set up a practice here. Thank you Dr. Ryan for your compassionate and comprehensive care.

Had Dr Ryan for 10 years until he moved back to Ireland so glad to see him back at Sturgeon Medical Clinic although he is not accepting patients but you can ask to see him as a walkin if he is there works in a few places. Hoping he will stay in St Albert and set up practice.

Dr. Ryan truly cares. What an excellent health professional. He listens and takes the time to explain. He wants what is best for his patients. he is very knowledgable with a vast experience in various medical fields from teaching at the University of Toronto, to working in public health in Helsinki. We are truly fortunate to have him working in S.t. Albert.
