My appointment was 2:45. I arrived at 2:25. I waited until 4:15. I asked how much longer would I be waiting they said just a few minutes. I saw Dr. Yanda at 4:25. I think they should have acknowledeged that I was there and explained the delay.I thought they had forgotten that I was there,
Dr. Yanda himself seems like a decent, knowledgeable enough doctor. But his staff is disorganized, unresponsive, and seemed to take days to relay to him questions I would call with. Once, when I was so ill after a colonoscopy that I could not pick my head up off the pillow, a friend who had come to stay with me had to call the office several times, each time leaving messages on the "nurse care" line to which we had been directed when she took me home. We waited for hours for a callback. Finally, desperate, she punched herself through the phone system to the business manager and told her what was going on. We got a call ten minutes later, and a prescription called in to our pharmacy shortly afterwards--but never a call from the nurse or the doctor.
