Had a very good experience with RMACT, ie thorough, honest, responsive, and received the result I wanted, i.e. pregnancy. Traveled from NY to CT to bypass heavy patient traffic since RMA office in NY is packed and office/Dr was highly-recommended by friend. Well worth the expense and time traveling back and forth. Thank you RMACT

After 5 failed IVF cycles in other center, I found RMACT and Dr. Hurwitz. They are so professional, so much more attention to detail than I had before. Their diagnose was more detailed, their care and attention during my cycle really closely monitored. One cycle with Dr. Hurwitz and I'm pregnant with twins! He is very direct, will give you the good and the bad news straight away (some people do not like this, but I rather know what are my options and have the most sincere doctor opinion). He is caring, professional and with good bedside manners. He and the clinic were there for me 24/7 all the time. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Hurwitz was my RE for about 2 years. The only negative comment that I have is the fact that after my IVF's failed, he was very quick to say, "When you get your Day 1, call us and we'll start again" without taking into account the fact that after not being pregnant after IVF, it's very hard to just start again. I needed a few months in between to regroup and get my head together. He never tried anything new cycle-wise, just kept it all the same. With this past cycle, I did finally get pregnant, but I switched RE's within the center.

Dr. Hurwitz and everybody in the office is so kind and compassionate. The dr. really takes the time to listen to the patient and makes the couple feel at ease. He is positive and friendly and always answered our questions. He has literally changed our lives forever and we will forever be grateful.

Dr. Hurwitz is a wonderful doctor who treats the whole patient. His practice is a model practice in which all other medical practices should emulate. He is kind, compassionate and very sensitive to the needs of his fertility patients. He puts his patients at ease and is very positive at a very difficult time in a couples life.

Although we did not need the services of RMA for very long, both myself and my husband were overly impressed with Dr. Hurwitz and the entire RMA staff. I have never encountered a medical office run with such efficiency and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking assistance with fertility treatment.

After a year of needed treatment otherwise ignored by prior doctors our end result was getting pregnant. My husband and I felt at ease with Dr. Hurwitz he made sure we understood everything. His staff was very supportive and caring. I must say the day I graduated and now was to go see my ob/gyn I realized how spoiled I was with this office and sad to leave but greatful that I was pregnant; but now I had to go back to rude office staff and doctors that were just as rude and really don't care I felt like a number (this is at my normal ob/gyn office.) So I Just can't thank Dr. Hurwitz enough and will be forever greatful for all he has done.

From the beginning, Dr. H made me feel dumb and pushy because I asked several follow-up questions for clarification. He wasn't willing to entertain my questions at all and I didn't feel heard. (This was confirmed when I later requested my medical records, and I read his report of our meeting. It was fraught with errors,including mundane information such as date of last period and health of my parents.) He diagnosed me before we met based on bloodwork from another doctor so that within two minutes of having met him, he was prescribing treatment. Really? I questioned (to myself) why were weren't having a phone consult if he didn't actually want to learn anything about me personally. He is,in a word, clinical. Zero thoughtful thinking about the individual, in my experience. As it turned out, his diagnosis was completely wrong and I have since found care with which I am comfortable. I advise anyone venturing into fertility for the first time to choose another doctor.

Dr. Hurwitz, as other people have stated, is one of the best doctors I have ever been to in my life (and I've been to a lot of doctors). I wish he could take care of all of my health concerns! Not only is he an excellent doctor and extremely caring, compassionate and knowledgeable, but he is also genuinely enthusiastic about what he does! Its so refreshing to have a doctor who cares about you professionally and personally but who also obviously loves what he does! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hurwitz and I recommend him without any hesitation to anyone with fertility concerns!

My husband and I switched to RMA/Dr. Hurwitz when we moved to CT from another state and we both absolutely love him. The staff at RMA are friendly and helpful and Dr. Hurwitz is amazing. As the husband/ non-patient, Dr. Hurwitz had an amazing way of translating the fertility language that my wife had learned over the years (and I had always felt left out @ previous Doctor’s having not learned the lingo) and always spoke to us in layman terms so that I was able to participate in the conversation. Dr Hurwitz and his staff have been more then helpful and courteous. While at first visit I had my reservations Dr Hurwitz was able to get me comfotable quickly. Dr. Hurwitz was one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure to be served by. His bedside manner is excellent. He is very knowledgable and compassionate. We were able to get pregnant after our first round of IVF with him after a few failed attempts elsewhere. Our daughter is a beautiful miracle. We are looking forward to having Dr. Hurwitz help us build a larger family in the future.

During treatment with him, he was quite defensive and a little edgy when we questioned any of his decisions for medical care. He is friendly and makes the patient feel at ease, although a doctor should welcome patient concerns and questions without feeling that their authority is challenged. Sometimes instead of giving a straight answer or stating that he did not know something, he would deflect our questions and answer something else. Found it hard to trust this person's judgement.
