This doctor 'vanished' last November. I had only two appointments with him when I was told at the local Health Unit that he had closed his office. They implied they had found out only because no one could reach him. This is inconsiderate to not turn over his practice to someone else, let alone to not inform his patients! Other than that, he seemed competent and - in my limited encounters with him - knowledgable.
