11/09/13 4 4 1 1 Do not get treated @ Aqua Med Spa by Dr Armogan /w BOTOX for HYPERHIDROSIS if your benefit plan covers a portion of the cost of botox. Most insurance companies cover ~$400max per 100units. Dr Armogan is unknowledgeable with insurance in regards to coverage & his staff cannot process it on your behalf. You have to pay the full amount then make a claim thru your benefit provider. He leads you to believe you are getting a deal by saying you don't have to pay an injection fee but the botox itself he wayyy over prices! It's 700+tax=$791(100units). Lots of other places charge ~$400 per 100units +$200 injection fee. I have 90% coverage. With Dr Armogan my out of pocket cost was $431 as I was only refunded 90% of the 400max. With the other medical spas I've gone to in Mississauga (Dr Giselle's Med Spa) & London (Image Anti Aging & Laser) I only pay $200+tax+$40(10% of the 400)=$266. That's $165(62%) more with Dr Armogan. I asked for a credit equal to the overage to come back & he refused.
Paid (or co-pay): $791

03/01/12 5 5 5 5 I have always found my interactions with Dr.Armogan and all of his staff to be highly professional and courteous. They really take the time to listen to my concerns and address them appropriately.I have been his patient for 20 years and have also been a patient in the AQUA Medical Spa and he has continued to demonstrate the highest level of skill and care for me and my family. He takes the time to explain things in a manner that I can relate to and thus get a better understanding. Keep up the great work !!  Respond

02/07/11 4 2 5 5 Dr. Armogan has been my physician for almost 20 years. I know that he may tend to run a little late, but the time relates to the obvious effort and quality of care he provides. He has always taken the time to ask of not only my physical health, but of my mental and spiritual too, all of which work together to maintain good health. I think he is fantastic!!!  Respond

25/06/11 1 1 4 5 I've read over these comments and anyone that states that the staff is any good whatsoever is obviously the staff themselves writing it. The main secretary is ignorant, and I realize people can't smile 8 hours a day but Dr. Armogan has very few patients anymore, so that would mean that she would have to smile 5 times a day. She is not anybody I would give a full-time position to, and certainly not dealing with people. She lies about following through with documentation. I've overheard her stating Dr. Armogan is the one with the bad memory but I think it's the other way around. He is a good Doctor if you can get an appointment. (fax machine always takes my calls)  Respond

06/06/11 1 1 5 5 Dr. Armogan is the best doctor I have ever had. He really seems to care about you personally. The wait times can be excessive but it's due to the excellent care he is giving his patients. He really listens and explains everything. His nurse/secretary is unbelievably horrid. She is rude and always on personal calls. Getting her to answer the phone is next to impossible. She sets the phone to go to fax so she doesn't have to check messages. That ear-splitting screech is maddening when you have a serious problem you need treated. It also seems to take her 2 months to file your personal file because every other visit I have nothing but a sticky note on the door. If she feels she's above the job, perhaps she should find a new one.  Respond

11/04/11 1 2 5 5 Wow and all this time I thought it was just me his secretary didn't like. She does however get along great with my husband but I think she is a very rude person and does talk alot of the phone. But maybe it's the doctor we should be speaking to about this. As far as the doctor goes. I don't mind at all waiting to see him because it's worth the wait. I think he's the best doctor who really cares about his patients. Sometimes I find myself looking at my watch while he's talking to me. LOL but that's ok because I know i'm in good hands. He is a caring man and not once has he pushed his lazer business on me. so the one comment I saw about that. Maybe he told you about his service because you need it. I hope I never have to find another dr in the future because he is by far the best. Keep up the great work Doc and hopefully you have some info on that secretary of your's so you can change things.  Respond

11/05/10 2 3 5 5 Me and my family have been with Dr. Armogan for at least 20 years, he is by far a very qualified and wonderful doctor. The only downside to this of course if his staff. The receptionsist is ALWAYS on the phone and it is almost impossible to call the office. it has been made apparent in the waiting room that most of the time she is on PERSONAL calls! all calls not being answered are forwarded to the fax so all i get is a piercing ring tone everytime i call, she was replaced last month for a little while and during that period i called the office and got through right away. In my opinion she needs to go!, she is not people friendly and is costing you $$$ for nothing, hire someone competant and i bet you'll save money on the phone bill to.  Respond

07/03/10 2 3 5 5 I've watched the secretary not answer the phone, wait for it to stop ringing and then pick it up: that was the East Indian Lady. She takes forever typing and doesn;t know how to answer a phone. Whenever I call I rarely get anyone, and get a piercing screech of the fax machine. I think he has very very poor secretaries and they should be fired. Theres this one nasty lady and it feels like everytime she hears my name, she stiffens up her voice. I don't know what I did to her. Dr. Armogan is amazing, but I've not gone for many issues because I try calling and I get the fax, I call again and I get the fax, I call a million times and I never get someone on the phone. Its such a pain to deal with his staff, so I end up not dealing with him. They are costing him money.  Respond

04/12/09 5 5 5 5 Dr.Armogan is the best family doctor in town. He always provides my husband and I exceptional medical advice since he took over Dr. Kissick's office.I have no complaints regarding his professional medical advice as he always provides us with the best advice. He is always there when we need him during tough medical times. He referred us to specialists whenever needed.I would never complain about the wait time as his wait times have definately improved since he got involved with Aqua Medical. The wonderful thing about Dr. Armogan is he always spends time uncovering and discussing your medical concerns during the medical appointment. He never times the appointment so we should never time the wait time.I am very thankful to be under the care of such a knowledgable, honest, sincere medical doctor. The days we do wait is definately well worth the wait as he never rushes us.He allows us the opportunity to ask about multiple medical inquiries. As for the secretary, nobody can smile for 8 hrs straight.  Respond

06/09/09 1 3 5 5 Get rid of your secretary, your paying her big bucks to spend the day on personal phone calls. You cannot call the office, she is on the phone and has the calls forwarded to the fax machine instead of the voicemail to avoid work. I feel bad booking and arriving for an appointment - obviously I am interrupting her social (gossip) life...she needs to be shown the door, with a good a$$-kicking on the way out!  Respond

03/08/09 2 1 4 4 I have been a patient of Dr. Armogan for over 15 years. For many years he provided a fantastic service to his patients, he listened, he cared, he was almost always on time; however, for the last 5 years he makes you wait for well over one hour, he rushes the consultations, and he will try to sell you his laser services. I wish I could bill him for making me lose time from work. How the secretary has managed to keep her job is beyond me, she is unapproachable, always on the phone on personal calls (you can hear her), and does not believe in smiling. Oh how I miss Dr. Armogan from old.  Respond

31/07/09 1 1 3 3 I've been a patient of Dr. Armogan for over 10 years and his attitude has changed since he's been married. The office changed to look like a spa with candles burning and insence. Maybe the wife's doing. The service has plummeted. I was not contacted to let me know that my appointment was cancelled a little while ago. Apparently, Dr. Armogan had a "last minute medical conference". What medical conference do you go to at the last minute? Oh yea, the one on the golf course. In terms of his secretary, I think having no people skills is a pre-requisite to work there. None of his nurses have been pleasant. You always feel like you're imposing when you want to see Dr. Armogan. Not to mention the wait. I've waited up to 2 1/2 hours once. It's not about Dr. Armogan taking time to "listen" to his patients. It's about double booking. More bookings=more money. If I could find another Dr., I would.  Respond

28/05/09 1 1 5 5 Fantastic, Upbeat and Helpful Doctor, who takes the time needed to help - this is why his punctuality is so poor - worth the wait! His secretary however is always on the phone, and you can hear they're always personal calls! She loses referrals and is never available to answer the phone. She has the phone set up, so the voice mail doesn't take a message and your connected to a fax....why? because retrieving messages is more work. I don't understand how the doctor has not caught on to her "lack" of work ethics. I hope it never happens but I can see this doctor being charged with professional misconduct only because his secretary does such a poor job!  Respond

13/05/09 3 1 3 5 He was a very good doctor until his marriage then he changed. It seems, after reading the remarks, that he has a different approach for each type of patient. Unfortunately, I was one of the ones who was not referred to a specialist. The secretary is absolutely the worst in the world. Very cold, never smiles, makes you feel like you shouldn't be there. But, on the other hand, she is so much better than the ones that were there when Dr. Dickie was his partner. That woman was just the nastiest woman in the world.  Respond

10/05/09 4 5 5 5 he has been seeing my son for many years and has been a source of constant support for our family. with all that he does he still finds the time to be approachable and to make a difference to our family. we were referred on to a specialist who simply confirmed dr. armogans diagnosis and we continue to this day under his care  Respond

07/04/09 2 3 3 4 Dr. Armogan is a great doctor, he is friendly and takes time to talk to you. However, i wish the secretary would be a little nicer and get off the phone, i always here her talking on the phone. The only other compliant i have is the doctor seems to be a pill popper he had me on 6 different meds when I was only 17 years old. also at times he does not take you seriously, i told him i had been suffering from headaches for 2 years and just said it was from stress again he had me on numerous pills that did not work and did not want to send me in for a brain scan of any type in the end i got tired of the pills and constant appointments and stopped going. and the other thing is i still have headaches!  Respond

16/03/09 4 4 5 5 Very good Doctor. Always takes the time to listen to your concerns. makes sure he gets all the information and explains your options very throughly. Always asks about the rest of my family too! I'm thankful to have him for my family doctor.  Respond

18/02/09 1 1 2 2 He was a really good doctor when he was with Dr. Dickie but now he is more concerned with lasers. He falls asleep when you're talking to him. He is, however, a very nice man who is easy to get along with. He'd be a good friend for after work hours to "chum" around with. Not so much in the office. The secretary is absolutely horrible!!! She has a very bad attitude, not patient oriented.  Respond

21/10/08 5 5 5 5 Dr Armagon is the most caring and amazing Dr I have ever had the chance to have. He is genuine and truly does want to help his patience...He saved me more then once...  Respond

30/07/08 1 3 5 5 Wouldn't (and couldn't) go to anyone else. He takes his time to explain everything in detail, and listens to everything you have to say...maybe this is why you almost always have to wait at least an hour in the waiting room. Still, I'd rather wait than be treated like just another patient. The only real complaint is the receptionist. She is icy cold and ALWAYS seems to be annoyed that you are there. She never smiles at anyone, and really makes you feel unwelcomed.  Respond

25/03/08 1 1 1 1 I am not a patient of Dr. Armogan, he was my sister's family physician. After living an eighteen month nightmare with her I feel qualified to comment. She complained for years about a problem in her left breast, she was told that (a) She was too young for breast cancer (b) There was no family history and (c) She was being paranoid. Finally at the insistance of the family, she got him to arrange a mamagram. That mamagram prompted a biospy, at which time a wonderfull surgeon stepped in and immediatly arranged surgery. Dr. Armagan's office finally got around to calling her with the biopsy results the day after she came out of surgery - her breast and lymph glands removed, but the cancer had already spread, the surgery was followed by eighteen months of chemotherapy and radiation, to no avail, my sister passed away while still undergoing treatment. Please Dr. Armogan - take your patients seriously - I miss my sister everyday - but not nearly as much as her four young children do.  Respond

13/12/07 5 5 5 5 I have been with him since he took over Dr Kissicks practice. Along the way, I had a serious incident happen and all I can say is "if a medal were available for a quality doctor, this man should be in first in line". He has watched over me like a mother hen, referred me to specialists without hesitation when necessary, and is always sincerely interested in how I am. He is a pleasure to talk to and in general I believe a very caring individual. I would recommend him to anyone.  Respond
