:) Click to report rating    5/12/09 3 5 5 A very helpful and very approachable doctor. He put me at ease the minute he walked into the office. Listens to your concerns and explains clearly and in detail what possible disorders you may have. He also has a good sense of humor. He is also very thorough when taking your history and examining you. He is a doctor whom I can trust and will definitely go back to be seen by him again. He never rushes you out of his office. I highly recommend him especially for women who don't feel comfortable seeing male doctors or who are very anxious like myself.

:) Click to report rating    4/16/07 5 5 Dr. Fabry is in the Hepatobiliary Dept so he treats liver disease and does liver transplants. He was very compassionate to me while treating me for Hepatitis C with interferon & riboviran for a year. When his nurse was disrespectful to me while training me to give myself injections I complained and he made sure I didn't have to see her again. I started a new relationship while in treatment and had many questions about my sexual activity. He was frank and gentle in his responses to me. The chemo made me very sick with many side effects - azole resistant candida, fibromyalgia and brain fog. He was very knowledgeable about possible remedies. He also made great suggestions to help me eat healthier during treatment. He was always very supportive of me keeping a positive attitude during a grueling treatment.
