STAY AWAY!!! STAY FAR AWAY!! This "doctor" was refered by a friend of mine. I specifically called to make an appointment to change birth controls to an IUD and told the reception this. When my appointment finally came I showed up 15 minutes early to fill out my paperwork. The doctor was of course late, by about half hour. When she finally saw me whe asked me why I was there, and I told her the IUD. First thing she asked me was if I'd had children. I said no. She said well I don't do that procedure on women who haven't had children. Since I've done the research (no help from her) I now see why, but telling me that over the phone instead of wasting my time and charging me $145 would have been the decent thing to do. She's all about frivolous charges and no patient care! By the way, I'm reporting her to the OCR because she tried to charge me $35 when I asked for a copy of MY 2 page patient records...which is ILLEAGAL by the way! CANT STRESS ENOUGH, PLEASE DONT GO HERE!!!

Dr. Aguilar is GREAT!!! She is straightfoward and to the point but I love that. She always remembers me and tells me exactly what I need to know. If you want a doctor to pamper you like she has all day then you SHOULD go find someone else. Otherwise take responsibility for yourself and be courteous to others and don't waste our time. As far as billing, I've never had a problem and when I had my daughter I had to do private pay. It was the easiest payment plan that I've had and everything was laid out plain and simple.

As a first time patient id have to say overall it was ok. I did wait awhile(20mis) but thats been most common for me in doctors offices, her staff was friendly. She was a lil quick and strait to the point, but me being a busy women my self could appreciate the in and out. I would return but i could see how other women might not take to her work ethics.

First of all, I would like to disagree with the women on this forum regarding the knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy of Dr. Aguilar. I have been a patient at her office for over 6 years, and not once have I been mistreated by her or given unhelpful infomation. She will not hesistate to answer any questions that I may have and will give her adviced when asked. Her staff has always been pleasant and prompt when needing a billing issue to be addressed. As far as the wait in her office, it usually can be about a 20 minute wait, but what doctor's office does not have a wait? To the impatient women who claims to have waited "30 minutes" for Dr. Aguilar prior to delivery, you are unreasonable!Sorry that Dr. Aguilar was not waiting at your bedside for your delivery! And to the ignorant, idiotic women who claims Dr. Aguilar received her doctorate or any other degree in Mexico is COMPLETELY WRONG. Perhaps you should check your Dr.'s credentials before posting an uninformed statement!

The staff is the WORST! I have been a patient for 3 years and it took me over 3 months to talk to whomever does the billing, and that person didn't even know what they were talking about. I'm recently unemployed and when I called to see if I could get a sample of Seasonique ($195 w/o ins), they said they didn't have any and hung up. I've tried getting a Rx for a cheaper birth control so I don't end up pregnant at a financial low time in my life and have had no response. The doctor makes you wait 1+ hrs to see her for 5 min max. Before my surgeries (paid 90% by ins) I was expected to pay 30% BEFORE the surgery would even be scheduled and instead of refunding me the money I was told it would stay as a "credit" on my account. That happened not only once but 2x!!! It has taken me almost 2 years to use the "credit" on my account and there is still monies left. I'm currently looking for a new OB/GYN especially after reading on here....

This "doctor" should have her license yanked! I took my daughter to her for specific tests. My daughter hates needles and, as teenagers do, was upset and snippy with me when we came into the room with the dr. The dr booted me out of the room to talk w/my daughter (also re: why we were there). When I was let back into the room she informed me that she "counseled" my daughter on drugs and alcohol!! NOTHING to do with our visit -- AT ALL!! She then told me that my daughter needed to be on medication for depression - I tried to tell her that she was in counseling, but she insisted she needed medication BEFORE counseling!! WHO IS THIS "DOCTOR"??? We went to her for some tests and a physical exam! What nerve --- and after all that -- I was OVERCHARGED!! She is a horrible doctor - overstepping her bounds, no respect for parents and no bedside manner (my child didn't like her either). If I'm not mistaken, she got her medical training in Mexico -- wish I'd known ahead of time...

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! I feel odd even calling her that! She is the WORST doctor I have ever seen, at the beginning she was great and I felt taken care of. She delayed treatment for my high risk pregnancy and I could have miscarried. I am now seeing a great Dr who has me on several treatments (she dismiss) and I feel great. She is incapable of filling out simple paper work. She treats all her patients the same and believes we all have the same circumstances. She is awful, and I will never see her again.

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. After accusing me a lying about the last date I took my birth control, she opened the door to the room while I was half naked in stirrups on the table, made me cry for bringing my daughter to an emergency appointment while I was pregnant and bleeding, and NEVER explaining or helping me while I was in under her care, I will NEVER return. DO NOT VISIT HER.

Where do I begin? Dr. Aguilar does not have the professionalism, the ethics, or the bedside manners when it comes to her patients. It is as though you are cattle...get them in and then herd them out when they need you. Avoidance of help and treatment are consistant. She seemed to have her own agenda when it came to delivery. Waiting 30 minutes for her to get to the hospital so she could deliver was horrible when the baby was ready to be born. Try calling the office after hours and they tell you to go away. Try getting a hold of her and you won't have much luck. I'm looking for a new doctor. I've had enough of this one.

I WOULD HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH ALLL THE OTHER WOMEN. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR.AGUILAR FOR SIX YEARS NOW.SHE HAS VERY GOOD BEDSIDE MANORS. IF SHE TAKE LONG TO SEE YOU, IT'S BECAUSE SHE TAKES HER TIME WITH ALL THE PATIENTS OR JUST DELIVERED A BABY. SHE SITS THERE AND TAKES HER TIME TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE, SHE IS NOT RUDE IN ANYWAY AT ALL.SHE IS A VERY GENUINE DOCTOR AND REALLY CARES ABOUT ALL HER PATIENTS.

During our initial visit I explained to her that I was high risk and explained to her my history of hemmorage and miscarriage. She didnt seem too concerned at all and brushed it off like it was a normal thing. I couldnt believe it when I read these reviews. I figured she was just extremely busy when I had gone in. Now I know its just lack of sincerity and care. A few weeks later, we had a miscarriage scare and she put me on 'watch' I then received a call from one of her staff members saying that they needed to call something in for me, and wouldnt tell me what it was for. When I picked it up, I read the handout and it said DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR ARE IN YOUR 1ST TRIMESTER! I was only 9 weeks at the time. The pharmacy said it could lead to miscarriage, brain deformity or developmental defects! When I called Dr Aguilar, her response was "Ohsorry, I thought I put a note on there to wait until you were further along. Dont worry about it, just dont take it"Im looking for a new OB!

Thank God she is not my regular OB/GYN. She was covering call for a 7 day period for my doc. I was 1 week post hysterectomy and developed constipation/impactation...I was in terrible pain...I called her and got the "drink more water" I was crying into the phone. The next day I developed a fever and again called her....she told me that until it goes over 101.0 that it really wasn't a fever. The next day I called again with pain and fever....she told me that I wasn't her patient and there was nothing she could do for me....If I thought I needed to see someone to go to the ER or Urgent Care. I did go to Urgent Care and the doctor on call there was LIVID....I was sent home on Cipro and 3 days later when my regular GYN was back in the office I saw him and he immediately sent me to the hospital where I stayed for the next 6 days on IV antibiotics with a pelvic abscess. I never saw Dr Aguilar....but the way she blew me off....I'd be damned to ever send anyone to her.

Dr. Aguilar Sitek was my obgyn for 10 years. she delivered by two girls. initially, i loved her and recommended her. she made me feel very important and seemed sincere. after a few years, when she went on her own, she changed. i no longer felt like she cared about my health and didn't feel comfortable with answers to any of my questions. i visited another doctor about my hemmoroids and found that i not only had them really bad but also had polyps! out of loyalty, i stayed and continued seeing her because i thought, "i only have to see her once per year". i felt really weak after she delivered my second child, turns out, she left a lot of after birth that she had to go back in to remove! one of the friends i referred almost died after dr. aguilar delivered her son. she hemmoraged very badly. i was mortified! i finally decided to switch doctors. i'll meet my new doctor this month 02/09! i have to have better luck! lastly, i haven't met one RN in the hospital who likes her! not one!!

I agree with a lot of comments, but I think it really depends on the day, when I started seing Dr. Sitek about 7 years ago, I really liked her, but I've noticed the last couple of years, she's changed. She spends less time with me during consultation, she's always in a rush, and I have to wait over an hour to be seeing, one of her front desk staff is very rude and they take a long time to help you. She doesn't give result of tests over the phone. Anyway, I feel some kind of loyalty toward her despite that I'm not too happy, I just know is hard to find a good ob/gyn

Annual visit with update of birth control ended up being one of the worst experiences with any obgyn i've had. First apt--i waited 45 min to see her. i'm 39 and immediately she suggests a hysterectomy instead of my req'd birth control method--depo shot. then she tried to upsell me on a IUD (10x the cost of the Depo shot). either way she needed me to take 2 pregnancy tests @ another facility before i could get my shot. Why wouldn't an OBGYN have pregnancy tests @ their office???? Then my pap came back abnormal. She would not give me the results over the phone. instead she made me come in, pay another $60 and then made me wait an hour for a 3 minute conversation that didn't answer many questions. This is a Dr. that wants make money not help people. And the comment about her dressing provocatively is reiterated here....she's working for chrissakes, not going out to a club...overall nix this Doc, she woulnt b recommended to anyone i know.

I would say this doctor is average - not terrible, but nothing to rave about. The major reasons why I switched doctors were 1) Punctuality - I never got seen on time. I usually waited over 30 minutes. 2) Lack of gentleness during an exam on more than one occasion. 3) Lack of depth in answering my questions, which makes me think that she is either in a rush or is unsure of the answer.

I would highly reccomend Dr. Aguilar to anyone looking for a great doctor/patient relationship. I spent the last two years as a pregnant patient of hers and truly enjoyed every visit. I always thought she was very patient, always took time to answer questions, she really took time to explain things and be there for me. I think that she is very professional and compassionate towards her patients. I will never go to another doctor again as long as Dr. Aguilar is avavliable. She delivered both my children, and each was a wonderful experience I felt blessed to have had her there with me. Her staff is also very helpful with things like; appointment setting, directions to labs and things, and with overall questions anytime by phone. I would absolutly reccomend her to anyone looking for the last doctor they will ever need to find!!

I went in and read all the reviews on Dr. Aguilar-Sitek because I was curious to see if she treats everyone the way she treats me at my ofc. visits. I agree with everyone that would not recommend her. She is not a very compassionate Dr. and is always in a hurry. I always feel so rushed when I go see her. And being forgotten about in the room just puts her lower my list and laughing about it made my opinion about her even worse. When she finally got me in her office she was in a hurry like always. I had questions and I had to ask her in the hall as we were walking out and it didn't even seem like she was really listening to me. If you have the first appt. be prepared to wait a while for her because she is never there on time and you will see her "rushing" through the front door.

I've been a patient for 4+ years. I believe that once you have met Dr. Aguilar-Sitek and seen her once or twice, you will see that she is a very personable person and truly cares about your well-being. She will take the time to go over any questions/concerns you have. I have referred several friends/co-workers to her.

She has really got some nerve. Very rude, and dresses provocatively. Her breasts are always hanging out of whatever she is wearing. I was pregnant and I wanted to go to another doctor, but I thought I would stick it out with her. Bad idea. I ended up having a nurse deliver me because she was "finishing up her clinic" I saw her yell at her staff in front of patients because she "had to go" and she was running late or something. Also, she kept my refund for about a month until I threatened her and finally got a check in the mail 2 weeks afterwards. It was not a great experience. A hassle and a loss. Please please please, stay away.

I will never recommend anyone to this doctor. My experience with has not been to my standards. I have had 3 children all with the same OB but due to certain circumstances had to find another. She doesn't take the time to listen and answer questions. Always has the same answer to every question she did answer. She shows no sympathy or sincerity. She doesn't make you feel confortable and overall has a lot of learning to do herself.

Patience is one of my best qualities, but this doctor tests mine every time I pay her a visit (I have changed doctors). She has been late for every appt. and her bedside manner is the worst I have ever encountered. She shows little compassion, appears rushed at all times, has confused me with another patient more than twice, she never answers my questions but still ends her visits with, "any questions", as she is pushing me out the door. Her staff is borderline rude and unorganized. If you are looking for an ob/gyn, look the other way...

Dr. Agulilar-Sitek is a very professional doctor. My experience was great. Her staff is very nice and helpful. Scheduling my appointments is great. They work around my schedule. I had dealt with a very sensitive issue and went to her office. She gave me all the information I needed to help me get through it. I moved on from that issue and found out I was pregnant. I saw Dr. Aguilar throughout my whole pregnancy. She treated me with great care. She would have delivered my baby but I had to have a c-section due to high blood pressure. When my sister found out she was pregnant I refrerred her to Dr. Aguilar-Sitek. My sister loved their service. Dr. Aguilar-Sitek delivered her baby. I still see Dr. Aguilar today for a pap once a year. My insurance has run out now but I choose to still continue to see her office. This office is great. I would referred every women to her!!!!!

I agree she is always late, maybe it's just because she is a one person team. If so she should team up with another Doctor. I sometimes felt rushed, or would feel like she would finish my questions. I feel she is a very friendly, wonderful person despite her Punctuality, which she has to improve. Ilove the staff very professional!

Going to this Dr was the worst mistake I have EVER done. She was 2 hours late the first time I saw her, 1 hour late the second time and an hour and a half the last time. (LAST TIME!) I completely understand Dr's appointments are never on time....but she always walks in late everytime I am there. She made me come back for a follow up and made me PAY FOR IT!! A follow up! I then waited for her to come out of her office to say "ok, you're fine. You can go." When I would ask her certain questions she kept saying "I don't know"...Well then what do you know????? You are a doctor right? The only thing nice about that office is the staff. I almost pity them for having to work for her!

I would abolutely NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Virginia Aguilar-Sitek. My appointment with this Dr. was one of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had and ended with me in the car crying! I went in with a very sensitive issue and was dealt with in the most rude, insensitive and unprofessional manner possible. She was very abrasive and interrupted me nonstop while I was trying to explain my situation. She even basically accused me of lying about what happened and made a very unprofessional joke! She didn't even address any of my concerns, just kept responding with "I don't know", looking at me like I was crazy to ask the questions. Her demeanor is very abrasive, pushy and extemely unprofessional. My husband wanted to go in and confront her as I was so upset when I got home. I am not in the habit of writing reviews, but I am hoping to save at least one person from going through what I did. In my opinion, this lady (using that term loosely) should not be practicing medicine with patients.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I was not seen on time, even though I showed up 20 minutes early; I was rushed out, w/out anything being explained to me. When I described my symptoms to the doctor, she said she "thought" I had genital herpes; but when I tried to explain my symptoms further, I was cut off and interrupted. I was VERY scared, and she did not provide ANY info on the disease. I did a lot of research (CDC, ASHA, local clinics, AIDS Foundation, etc) -- these agencies provided me w/a LOT of information, and some of my major symptoms conflicted w/symptoms of Herpes. When my results came back, it showed that I did NOT have genital herpes, and the doctor still did not offer any assistance to help me figure out what was causing my symptoms, or how to relieve the pain I was experiencing. She was unprofessional, and kept interrupting me AGAIN the second visit when I tried to explain something very simple but important, and she still didn't answer my questions.
