My son had some "concerning" looking breathing when he was six weeks old. The midwife called Dr. Earl's office and within the hour, there he was...... at the hospital ready to examine my son. He had incredible bedside manner and explained things to us in the most respectful manner possible. He ordered tests immediately to rule out any concerns. He even complimented our son on his growth and assured us that he was thriving:) I would recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, compitent pediatrician!!!!

We have been seeing Dr Earl for several years now and he is by far the best doctor we've ever had including the doctors we see at Children's. He listens to both the parents and the child, takes time to answer all our questions, address our concerns, and has an open mind when we make suggestions regarding new treatment options etc. He does not hesitate to call another doctor or make a referral if he thinks it might help. I don't think we wait any more for appointments with him than we do with any other doctor, but even if we did, it's well worth the wait. We know that if it was an emergency he would be there for us. We are very fortunate to have him in PG. I only wish there were more doctors like him!!!

We have seen Dr Simon Earle for many years at the Diabetic Clinic in Prince George. He has watched my son grow up. It is amazing how he is with kids. He has always treated us in the most compassionate way, telling jokes with my son and genuinely interested in his life, well beings and interests. I wish all doctors were like him. We will be having him assess our youngest child and I have absolute confidence that he will be as caring, friendly and child oriented as he was with our older son. He is a treasure and we are lucky to have him in the north. C. Nielsen

We have been seeing Dr Earl for a couple of years now for behavioural issue with our daughter and he is amazing! He sits on the floor with my daughter and listens to her and talks to her and he is very attentive with me as well. He has given us many ideas and solutions to try with our child and never pushing drugs for her. If you are lucky enough to get to see him, hang on to him, hes a great doctor!

Dr Earl treated my 10 week old son when he was hospitalized for RSV. I found him to be very gentle and kind with my baby, playing with him on his knee each time he came to our room, and having a genuine love of children. He was extremely knowledgeable about the illness my son had, appropriate treatments, and the possible long-term consequences. He explained everything so that I could understand and took extra time if I had questions. He was an all-around nice person and even enthusiastically chatted rugby with me when he found out I was a Kiwi :). Great guy, great doctor. If your baby is sick you want him in your corner.

Dr. Earl saw my daughter for a chronic diaper rash - we'd seen three other doctors about it, and all had offered different diagnoses, and been unable to prescribe anything that helped. When we saw Dr. Earl, he examined her thoroughly, made some suggestions, and scheduled follow-up visits biweekly until her bum started to heal. He pulled out all the stops, even consulting with a pediatric dermatologist, and finally our daughter's bum started to heal. He's fantastic. I can't say enough good things about him - he listened to every concern we had, and every trick we'd tried, and was very patient through a very strange dermatological issue. He is fantastic with children - gets down on the floor and plays with them, talks to them, and involves Mum and Dad in all aspects of treatment. Yep, he can sometimes be late to appointments, but considering the care he gives, he's worth the wait.

Dr. Earl is exceptionally great with children. He takes his time, plays and relates to the children and is extremely caring. We've seen many pediatricians over the years and by far he has the best bed side manner with kids. My daughter loves him. You may wait awhile to see him but it's worth it because he takes the time and is so thorough with your child. He is also a great listener to the opinions of the parents. I can't say enough good things about him. He is truly the best.

I would recommend Dr Earl 100% He was the only doctor who knew how to help my son when he was very sick last year. The doctors in Quesnel kept sending me home, but when Dr Earl saw my son he knew right away that something was wrong, he was able to make a diagnosis and treat my son who is doing very well now. He is amazing with kids. Thanks you so much for all your help

Dr. Earl is pleasant and good with children. He has been very respectful of us as parents with a developmentally disabled child. He is not always aware of the most current treatments, however he is willing to listen. He is also very willing to refer if needed. He tends to be a bit disorganized so sometimes referrals are delayed or forgotten.

Dr Earl saw my son when he was 1 1/2 mths old. It took Dr Earl no time at all to diagnose my son with phyloric stenosis, this was a relief as I had my child at our family dr and ER daily for over a week with no help. He was kind, and compassionate to what we were going through. A wonderful dr and person!

When my duaghter had a seizure at one month of age and was taken to the hospital in Prince George, Dr Earl was going off duty but when he was called from my hospital in Quesnel, he said he would wait. He was the nicest and most caring doctor I have ever had the good fortune of meeting. Not only did he take the time to explain everything that was being done for my daughter he kept asking how I was holding up. He told us that she had suffered a febrile seizure. He then had us see him on a regular basis so that he could keep an eye on her throughout her childhood. She is now 5 and thriving so well! She loves to see Dr Earl as he gets right down on the floor to play with her when we go there. She can go into see him in the worst mood and come out of there in the best of moods! Dr Earl you are a God send to the pediatric profession!! Please don't ever leave!!!
