my wife has had many reoccurring hernias and many operations done by Dr Warnock and has had excellent care in the past. This time they did a stomach reconstruction and discharged her too soon, now a drain tube has come out

Dr Warnock,I have tried to call you. I again have a horses head protruding from my stomach. I did call and say the lemon is a cantelop. I look like a freak. I am to afraid to exersise. I have called the office a few times and left a message. I did speak to a woman who told me to call back. I felt dismissed. Then the "at my earliest conveniance" I went to all of the appointment's. The Neroligest (can't spell) said I was fine and did not have a femeral artery hernia. There is no way that I can keep going on like this for another four years. My family and friends are ashamed of me. They have to make excuses for my appearance. I just do not go out anymore. Lost my job..financial security, family,friends-all of the activity's that made me happy. I know there are limited beds. This hernia could have been fixed with mesh. My life is in your hands. My daughter-type 1- stem cell. Your good. Yes I was fun. I have less than ten months? Feel's like days Just ten years V.Cookson

Dr Warnock did operate my husband of hernia in October. The operation went extremely well and the recovery was excellent. Dr Warnock is a very caring person; he explained the procedure and was most reassuring. He is not just an excellent surgeon but also a warm, pleasant and supportive human being. We are most grateful. I do appreciate the time and expense that I have had ...saved my life.. There is something really wrong. I can not walk, drive or move with out pain. I have been in so much pain that I had decided to let go and leave. I called my mother to tell her that I probably would not be able to,have a heart transplant and want to die in peace. I did not get a chance to say anything. She compained about my grand children? She wanted me to get her a new used car. She does get. Pension.. She is 96 years old. She smokes..beats everyone playing bridge. She told me that I should fight and not die without a fight. I don,t want to beg or wait for another year to get an appointment. I am dying...I have paid my way. If you are a good Doctor you will call me...remember I was the one you said would be a lots of fun. Val Cookson

Dr.Warnock saved my life in the spring 1990 when he was working in the emergency ward of the Grey Nuns Hospital, Edmonton, AB. Besides being a great doctor with an enormous amount of compassion he is probably one of the nicest human beings I have ever met.

My surgery, while not the greatest recovery experience, my experience with Warnock was fantastic. He was friendly. Consider it. Came by everyday to check in on me while I was in the hospital. He was friendly and genuine. Its been almost 3 months since my Ileal resection and everything is in perfect working order.

Please Dr. Warnock help me. I have been on your list for six months. Been waiting for two years. Had one botched surgery. I have called the office and have been told I was still on the waiting list. I have been hanging on because you said I might have to wait until Feb. I have lost everything and am now in pain all of the time. Depressed and rarely get out of bed. I have worked hard for over forty years and was hoping I could have a few quality years for myself now that my children are grown. I know that the common answer when I call is to say that there have been many cancer patience that have needed surgery immediately. I had a c125 test and it came back at 4. So I also have cancer but have been to sick to have a mammogram or chest x-ray. I know you are over worked. The system is not working. I would go to the states if I could and give up my life savings. Can't. I don't know what else to do. If I die I am sure they will look into the problem but it will be to late for me.

Dr. Warnock is an amazing doctor. I had a bowel resection and I am doing amazingly well, three weeks later. He is an extremely compassionate and caring doctor. He is top notch. I am grateful that he was my surgeon. I would not have had anyone else. Besides he visited me every day in the hospital for three weeks. I have high regard for Dr Warnock and I would highly recommend him. He saved my life.
