I've been seeing Dr A since November...I started out thinking I had something wrong with my adrenals and now being treated for blood pressure problems after going through months of tests. I like Dr A but he does seem to rush a bit too much instead of sitting down and listening to your problems and working through things. His office staff is his biggest downfall...worse staff I have every seen in my life!! They are very rude on the phone and in person and do not seem to care about any of their patients.

Went for hypothyroidism. He wanted to test me for growth hormone deficiency. Because cost is so high for treatment and the deficiency is quality of life and not life threatening, I declined the test. He told me two months ago that I would be a patient he would treat for a long time . .. last month I was told that i was ready to graduate back to my family physician to track the Synthroid use. Wonder if he would have kept seeing me if I would have signed on to use the very expensive daily shots needed for the growth hormone deficiency? I feel abandoned and am curently looking for a new doc.

I agree with the person saying they are too busy now. It's true, he tells you at first that he will base findings on both clinical and blood results but he doesn't,.My husband is hypothyroid and I had him switch doctors only to watch him slowly get worse Dr. A only uses SYNTHROID, despite patients not always responding to it. He has wasted years of our lives because I too, am low thyroid. I am so disappointed in him because he has the knowledge ability but is not giving good treatment to his patients. He should have given my husband combination therapy. I have been the one to suggest everything such as testosterone tests etc. How dare these doctors waste our precious time on earth while we "wait" to see if the next round of tests in6 months or a year get better. Treat us now!!Give us a quality of life now, we may not be here later. He wouldn't wait if it was him. I've been with him for 2 years, I regret it because he started out thorough but went downhill quick. he rushesinandout!

The doctor is not bad at all, but the primary obstacle is his office staff. They are extremely rude and very uncaring about the patients. They make you feel more like a number than a patient. I actually have been to several doctors in the past, but his staff is by far the worse that I have ever experienced.

5/7/08 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Great doctor and staff.... been seeing him for several years. He is great... very smart. I have noticed that since his practice has grown so much he seems to be in a big hurry and don't take as much time with you as he did before. | Respond |

Excellent in all respects. Takes time to listen to you and to explain the whats and whys of your condition. Not offended for you getting a second opinion. You hear nothing but good comments from other people about him while waiting for your turn to be seen. Staff is very kind and both Doctor and staff always follows up on your complete health care. Only one negative-he does not do nursing home visits on patients. I hope that will change in the near future.
