Daughter had a condition for since birth dr keep saying it was eczema, had a skin biopsiy done she has a rare immune desease Dr.Falk gave me more help and infor about it in 10min than i have gotten from the numerous dr.'s over the years. He explaned every detail down to the genes thats causes it

Dr.Falk is the best doctor I have ever been to. he takes the time to explain everything and is extremley thorough and caring. I have my entire family seeing him and out is always a positive experience.

11/17/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Regarding the comment made below about Dr. Falk. Last I checked Allergy, Immunology and Asthma are different from cancer. He is an allergist, not an oncologist. If your mother was getting allergy shots from him for 20 years, obviously something was working. And I've never heard of someone "begging" for a chest xray. I had no problem requesting mine. Unfortunately, cancer affects many people in the world. Whatever stage it may be in when you discover it doesn't mean you you blame the doctor. I found Dr. Falk to be a wonderful, knowledgeable physician who goes out of his way to help his patients. | Respond |

Dr. Falk was my mother's allergist for 20 years. Unfortunately, the fact that he had her visiting him for allergy shots weekly for decades with no real improvement in her symptoms was not the worst example of his incompetence. What I will never forgive him for is that when, a year ago, she developed a slight wheeze, he immediately diagnosed asthma (which she had never had) without so much as a chest x-ray. As the year proceeded, my mother's breathing difficulties grew worse and he simply prescribed round after round of antibiotics, inhalers and steroids. None of these helped but he did not question his diagnosis of asthma until 9 months later when her lung capacity was at 50%, she was short of breath, and coughing, and we begged her to ask him to do a chest x-ray. It was then that we discovered that she had pleurisy due to a collapsed lung caused by stage 4 lung cancer. Had Dr. Falk not been so negligent, perhaps my mother's cancer could have been caught earlier and cured.

I went there for an allergic problem and I left his office with problem that I suffered for 25 years basically solved and that it is not his field(urology) he is specialize in allergy and immunology, but he discovered an undiagnosed disease that I am suffering for 25 years,nobody was able to diagnose and in 10min talking with me about something that he is not a specialist he just nailed down, after running some tests everything he said was proved..he is the man..God bless him. | Respond |

5/14/07 | 3 | 5 | 5 | One of the best and brightest doctors I've ever had. He paid attention to detail, was supportive and persistant when it turned out I had much worse than allergies. I remember the waiting room was typically a little full and the wait could be pretty bad (but that was 5 years ago). But that was b/c if you had a problem, he would deal with it, not brush you off.
