05/07/14 5 5 5 5 I had a wonderful experience. I had more success with Dr. G in one treatment than 5 others at another docs office where an assistant did the treatment. The staff is extremely efficient and knowledgable and Dr G is very kind. My sister and friends have had similar experiences.

23/05/14 2 2 1 1 Too much of a factory. You will pay a lot of money, and staff asked you same questions over and over because there are too many handling your file; they get their facts mixed up and don't take detailed notes. Very disappointed with Dr. Geronemus - feels like he's bored with his job.... Gives you 5 minutes to consult, then forgets you areas of concern. I paid for specific procedures, discussed areas of concern and came out without those areas treated aggressively, or at all. Very displeased for the 16000 I paid. He didn't seem to care, when mentioned in follow up. I recommend shopping around - find someone who will really listen and treat you like an individual, not this quick in and out cursory patient handling.

20/07/13 5 5 5 5 Dr. Geronemus is an answer to our prayers. From start to present, exceeding expectations is an understatement when describing our experience with Dr. Geronemus and his entire team. He is extremely good with kids and has a wonderful "bedside manner" about himself. I do recommend that you educate yourself about your condition prior to meeting with him as he enjoys discussing your condition and helping you better understand not only the issue, but the current events that are happening about the issue. His experience and skill are unmatched. Because of his talent, we are able to treat much more frequently with less post-procedure effects. Each appointment he takes the time to read his notes, compare progress and then perform the treatment. All while making our daughter smile and laugh - she is one of his thousands (probably) "poster children". We love him! It is no wonder that he is recognized as one of the leading physicians of his fields. We are very fortunate to be under his care.

29/10/11 5 5 5 5 I was very impressed with the doctor and the results of his treatment. He was extremely honest and forthright. I was offered several options and he was able to remove the purple lumps on my lips that I had been told for years couldn't be treated. He is also did a great job with laser treatment of my sun damage and sime restillyn.  Respond

07/10/11 3 3 1 3 My consultation with Dr. Geronemus cost $350 lasted about 4 minutes, and qualifies as the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. Upon entering the room, Dr. Geronemus neglected to introduce himself, and showing no regard for privacy, left the door open behind him. I came into see him regarding a scar on my face- something which has caused me to feel very self-conscious and insecure. While Geronemus prodded my face with his finger, he spoke to me like I was an idiot and a complete waste of his time. I left the office feeling very bad about myself, and will never return to see him or any of his associates, due to the extremely insensitive way that I was treated. Completely awful experience.

07/08/11 3 3 1 5 I saw him several times and have been to the Center to see other doctors. My impression is that he cares about e.g., children with birth marks - but not about patients trying to correct minor cosmetic problems. When I mentioned that, after a few treatments, I did not see any improvement, he upped the laser, with a look of what I interpreted as contempt in his eye, and I walked out with a hugely swollen face. I would never see him again or go to the Center, where I feel that all that matters is getting you to commit to procedures, not to listening to what you want or came in for.  Respond

27/02/11 5 5 5 5 He is an excellent surgeon and did a wonderful job with MOHS surgery for skin cancer on my face. It is a busy practice - but he is very skillful. I would definitely recommend him to others with a similar problem. Insurance covered most of the cost.

02/11/10 5 5 5 5 I have had several laser facials performed by Dr. Geronumus with excellent results. I highly recommend Dr. Geronemus' expertise with lasers for anyone who has any concerns about having a laser treatment. I have confidently referred him to several of my friends and all have had very positive results.  Respond

01/11/10 5 5 5 5 I was referred to Dr. Geronemus by my dermatologist to correct some scars from a laser procedure performed by the dermatologist's medical assistant. I was left with holes on my nose and right cheek. Dr. Geronemus did a fabulous job fixing the scars with another laser. He was a true gentleman and the office staff was very professional through the entire process. Fair warning to those people who let medical assistants treat their faces.  Respond

19/10/10 3 3 1 1 Dr. Geronemus initially would not see me because he apparently has a policy of not seeing patients injured by other doctors. Says a lot about him as a doctor and a person. The only way I was able to see him was because a colleague of his got me an appointment. I found him to be overly egotistical, yet unable to offer me any guidance whatsoever, as he already saw me as an "injured" patient and treated me as such. He was not at all sympathetic to my condition (laser scarring) and even made a joke about it during my examination.  Respond

22/09/10 5 5 5 5 Dr. Geronemus is the best of the best! I was referred to him by my plastic surgeon who had to rebuild my nose after it collapsed following botched mohs surgery. Although it took many laser treaments, I look better than I could ever have hoped! He also treated my forehead, which had a terrible scar also from botched mohs surgery. The scar on my forehead is now virtually nonexistent, thanks to his laser treatments! During this process Dr. Geronemus discovered another spot of cancer on my nose, which he removed so perfectly that I can't even find the spot! He also did fraxel repair over my whole face, and I literally look `15 years younger! Dr. Geronemus' bedside manner was great - he made me feel like his only patient, with his caring and concern. I will never let another dermatologist touch me! Dr. Geronemus is truly the best of the best!  Respond

03/05/10 1 2 1 2 I went in to improve 20 year old scars that were kind of white over many years of time. I thought the laser would improve the scars. The fraxel laser that Dr. Geronemus used has ruined my life. It has been over 9 months now and my scars are bigger wider and darker - much more noticeable then they were. For me this was a terrible experience and I can not believe I paid someone to do this to me. When I complained all they could say is it looks much better. . . just look at the pictures. This guy ruined my life to make $600. I am writing this so someone else does not decide to do this and have to go through what I am going through. I cry every day and would do anything to change that fateful day that I walked into his office.  See Responses

18/12/09 5 4 5 5 I owe a lot to Dr. Geronemus .He changed my life forever, and i am so grateful to him . I had acosmetic skin procedure done by another MD,that was botched and left me terribly scarred physically and emotionally . I went to numerous plastic surgeons and dermatologists ,paid thousands to try and correct the damage that was done without success . I was devestated and distraught until i was referred to Dr. Geronemus . He was completely honest ,and gave me hope ,he promised he could help me but not fix me 100 %. I received lazer treatments that did in fact fix my terrible scars .He was the only one that gave me AMAZING and drastic results . I am forever grateful,Dr. Geronemus ,you gave me back my life and confidence. THANK YOU !!!!!!  Respond

He did an amazing job and was very kind to my son (and me). Since the skin lesions grow back, this is the second time he has had to perform surgery. He did a great job 5 years ago and also this year.  Respond

01/06/09 5 4 5 5 My daughter has been seeing Dr. G. since she was 6 weeks old for a Port Wine Birthmark. He definitely has done a great job reducing her stain however, we do have to keep on going back. Glad insurance is paying for it as I don't think I'd be able to afford it. I can see why people say that he doesn't have any bedside manners. He comes in does his job and leaves. I think he it's his nature, and I'd prefer someone like him - who looks concerned and answers your questions rather than someone who has great bedside manner but doesn't really have much medical knowledge.

11/04/09 1 1 1 5 Irish Registered Nursing staff pointed me out to their friends in public as some of them lived in my area, so everyone knew what procedures i had gotten.Absolutely no patient confidentiality. Dr. Geronimus needs to over haul his staff and re orient them on basic nursing practices and patient privacy.

20/07/06 1 1 1 Paid $500. for a consult which lasted about 5 minutes. Waited for over 40 minute. He brought in two students with him and treated me like a science experiment. He then told me there was nothing he could do for my skin since I have dark skin but he could try a few things. He took my money and now wanted to use me as his experiment long term. Bad bedside manner to boot. Not recommended! I've found doctors who can do more for me.
