:| Click to report rating    1/29/10 3 1 3 My first appointment was scheduled for 830, she didn't arrive until 930. It was an "introduction" appointment and lasted 5 mins asking me to make another appointment. At the next appointment she did not know who I was or my problem and did not have my chart with her. However on my third appointment she was quite friendly and helpful and completely changed my first impression.

:) Click to report rating    1/26/10 5 5 5 great experience, I expected to wait and didn't at all. Dr Abed was knowledgeable and down to earth, it was soothing, she make me feel comfortable and was attentive to my needs.

:( Click to report rating    1/25/10 2 1 1 The first appt. was ostensibly a 'new patient interview' - in 10 minutes? She managed to write refills for a few of my prescriptions, and told me to make another appointment for a 'longer talk'. I did so. She had apparently forgotten the purpose of that visit, however - as when I arrived (after waiting two hours) she barked out a demand for 'my problem'. I was taken aback, as there wasn't a specific complaint - just the rest of the 'interview' Not. In the remain 10 minutes she both frightened and angered me. Frightened me - because she didn't seem to realize the linkage between sleep apnea and headache on awaking. (What ELSE doesn't she know?) Anger, because she belittled me for commenting that I thought my sleep apnea was worsening, because of the severity of the headches I had on arising. EVEN if I was wrong, a good Doctor doesn't BELITTLE a patient. I've been going to walk-in clinics, randomly, rather than go back. My advice: avoid her at all costs. (I miss Dr. Giles.)

:) Click to report rating    1/15/10 5 4 5 My mother, husband and I have just started seeing Dr. Abed. We have all found her very kind, courteous and helpful. We will miss Dr. Giles, but feel we are in good hands with Dr. Abed. It is so nice to have a good Doctor again. She is wonderful.

:) Click to report rating    1/14/10 4 5 5 Had my first visit with her & was very happy. Appointment was at 9:30 am, and I was at work by 10:00! She was very caring & told me if ever I or my kids were sick & I was told there were no appointments available that day to find out from reception what her hours were that day & just come in. She'll find the time for us. Can't really speak to her knowledge or diagnostics skills yet, but so far I'm happy.

:| Click to report rating *  12/7/09 4 3 3 I believe her name is actually Abee, not Abeer... I am a new patient of hers here in Victoria and I find her caring, however the whole 1 item per 10 minute appointment is a bit frustrating... and if I have to repeat myself each time I see her then it kinda wastes my 10 minutes.

:| Click to report rating    11/12/09 4 3 3 Seemed professional enough, although you feel like you are sitting in a bus station while waiting to be seen. The office needs updating.
