Found Dr O'Brien to not listen to symptons and not open to suggestions from patient. Does not seem confident on diagnosis and prescription knowlege. She always late by at least 30 minutes and even I get first appointment always 10 minutes late. Never acknowledges her tardiness.Needs to learn to have a better relationship with patience.

I have been a patient for over 2 years and have found Dr. O'B willing to listen and help out. She only works part-time and it can be difficult to get an appt as timely as one might like. But she is knowledgeable and skilled as a physician and I would definitely recommend her to others.

Over the past1.5 years I have had mixed expereince with her. Usually she is cool and professional, sometimes a little warmer, sometimes a little cooler. I certainly get the feeling of being rushed and I'm not entirely convinced she actually likes people. I'm stuck though, hard to find any GP.

I have been with Dr O'Brien for 1 year now. She is very thorough and extremely knowledgable. I have read the comments and can only think that this is the bad thing about this website. Good experiences are not reported enough and the negative makes news. White Rock is a small community and as a new doctor to the area I have talked to many people who are her patients. They cannot rate her highly enough.

Given that this Dr. has such brief office hours (part-time, 3 days a week) and permits very limited time and attention to each patients' needs (she became agitated with my questions & need to discuss concerns - I felt dismissed), I would not recommend her as a readily available,caring and thorough GP. As a newcomer to Canada, she struggled with Canadian drug terminiology.

When I went to this doctor with a very specific ailment she shot me down and told me I was being unreasonable. She did a few other tests and when we still were'nt able to determine my condition she gave up and did not give me any further options to consider. She still would not give me the tests I asked for! I would definately never go back.

If you want to see this doctor, you had better not be in a hurry to see her, or you'll be stuck with someone in the walk-in clinic.She works very few hours and does not seem overly interested in what your problems are. Misplaces patients files easily.

Almost dropped my baby, I had to take over! Asked for a test, she wanted to know why I needed it, although it was for the reason I came to see her? And a very basic blood test to confirm results. I think she needs to make her appointment times 20 min until she can better balance her patients. The front desk person was banging on the door telling us to hurry up as others were waiting. Not too professional. I will not go back. Your better at a walk-in clinic.

This doctor is not nice, she is rude and not approachable person. When I was there, my visit was being timed. My impression is she is not too concerned about your health, ten minutes is too long that you have to make another appoint- ment to accomodate you on other problems or concerns you have.
