Dr. Rester is a VERY good doctor. He is diligent, intelligent, and thorough. He keeps us alive and well!!

We were referred to Dr. Rester for our daughter when she was 8 weeks old because we were extremely unhappy with our daughter's pediatrician. When we talked to him on the phone, told him what was going on, etc., he wanted to see our daughter that day. And, we've been seeing him ever since. He is attentive, never rushed, comforting, knowledgeable, and everything a doctor should be. Another doctor said "This is how medicine should be practiced," and I can't say anything better than that. We now make the drive to Royce City with our children to see him. It's worth the 30-45 minute drive to see a doctor so completely concerned with his patients.

Dr Rester has been our primary care physician since we moved here 13 years ago. He is careful and listens well and explains things. He is also judicious in the use of antibiotics which I like.

Dr. Rester has been extremely helpful with some chronic issues (type II diabetes mostly) and I'm very glad he's now my doctor. He's very thorough, never rushed and appointment can be made in a timely manner.

Dr Rester & His assoc are very thorough, I used him when he was in Rowlett and now make the drive to Royce City for his treatment.

He's been my doctor for years. My granddaughter (19) was injured and Dr. Rester agreed to see her. She loved him! Just the right attitude and friendliness to put her completely at ease. The office got right back to us on the x-ray results and set up the appointment with the orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Rester has been my Doctor for 7 years and is also my 5 year old daughter's Dr. since her birth. He is wonderful with children and being Internal Med., he has vast knowledge and is very trusted in our family. He takes as much time as you need to explain issues and discuss treatments, etc. Dr. Rester is the best Dr. I have ever had in my 35 years on this earth.

Dr. Rester is the best doctor I have ever had. I don't mind waiting for him because I know he takes his time with everyone else just like he will with me. He is knowledgeable and he listens to his patients. He was able to diagnose something that several other doctors had missed. He goes above and beyond what he has to do. I never want to have another doctor.

This is the way medicine should be practiced. You are respected, given time and heard. Do not expect a plush office. It's functional. Staff is great, too. Dr. Rester is knowledgeable, friendly and the office runs smoothly. Calls are returned, appointments available in a timely manner. His partners are wonderful, too, and they work together for the benefit of the patients. Since he's also a board certified pediatrician, he's excellent for the whole family.
