Dr. English is amazing. I am a nurse with mt RN and BScN. From both a professionalnpoint of view and a patient point of view I have found Dr. English to be exceptional. After a MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) he has been my surgeon for bilateral hip replacements and bilateral knee replacements. He could not have been more capable, compassionate, and considerate. Anyone who feels he is not a wonderful surgeon has not dealt with some of the truly incompetent members of the medical profession...and by the way he has a wicked sense of humour!

I had total hip replacements with him. I love the work he did on me. He is great all around! I can't say anything bad about him. Thank you so much for taking my pain away Dr. Edward English. I will always remember you!

Dr. English is very friendly, helpful, kind, and supportive. He is reassuring before and after surgery. He monitors your progress carefully. He always takes time to answer any questions. He is extremely knowledgeable. I can highly recommend him to others.

I do not know what is wrong with the person who rated doctor english poorly. This is the most caring compasionate doctor I have ever met. I would recommend him to anybody. My family doctor advised me that they do not make doctors like Dr English anymore. It is too bad he is one of a kind. Thank you doctor English

dr. english is down right rude, has a rather crude sence of humor, he would leave me in tears when i left the office, has NO compassion for others who he deems below him, there is NOT one iota of empathy in him......Karma

I had surgery in Apr./09 on both feet to correct hammer toes (4 on left and 2 on right). This doctor is fantastic and did a truly amazing job on me. He is the best, a wonderful sense of humor, compassionate and a truly great person.I don't mind waiting for someone like him. I would recommend the Complete Foot Health Clinic to any one.

I had had seven operations by several Doctors on my right shoulder to clear an infection. Dr. English not olly cleared up the infection but gave more movement back. Great Doctor

Was two hours late for an appointment and told he he would not operate on my hammertoes/mortons neuroma until I was sitting in a wheelchair. Then wrote a letter to the referring doctor telling her I was a "princess who expected him to wave a magic wand an make it all better". I am now looking for another surgeon, I wouldn't trust him to cut butter...

Old surgeon. Should be retired. Waited almost 2 hours For a five minute apt. Couldn't even fix a bunion on one foot & recommended better arch supports for a foot with necrosis.

This doctor operated on me(ankle fusion)in 1988 which was a disaster. I went from a bad ankle to a nightmare ankle. When I showed my x-rays to a slew of orthopedic surgeons after the fact, each and every one, told me how the procedure was was not done according to standard.Some doctors did not really believe my ankle was fused. Since then, I have had a real ankle fusion and am presently contemplating a complete ankle replacement. Granted, I did not start with a healthy ankle but I know I would not be in as bad a position today except for the fact I pemitted this man to operate on me. The very worst decision of my life.

Dr English is a wonderful surgeon. He operated on my sub talar joint doing a fusion with bone graft 18 months ago, today I can walk pain free. He is caring attentive, the best, I can't thank him enough

aisttentive - the last of a dying breed. called me at home to answer our concerns. patient and kind with a great sense of humor. how unfortunate for the medical profession that he is retiring. gave direct, sound advice from years of experience. excellent follow-up. My husband and I were deeply impressed with this exceptional doctor.

If this is the same surgeon from Sunnybrook Hospital I had in 1977. He is amazing. I shattered my ancle. It had to be reconstructed with plates, screws and nuts. Today I walk pain free without ever having a limp. There are times with weather I get pain. But considering the damage then from a car accident. I am lucky to still have my foot. Like to thank him again personally if I could.

I was referred to Dr. English for an ongoing foot ailment. When I met him, I realized that I had used him as a doctor 20 prior at another location. He is a kind, mild mannered, very knowledgeable doctor who truly loves his job. He was first interested in proper introductions before beginning the intended doctor/patient visit. His office is bright, spotless and well located. He is a truly remarkable person as well as an excellent doctor. Loved the experience!!

Dr. English operated on both of my feet (bunions) in 2005. I went back to work in 10 days. The experience at the hospital was exceptional. I woke up to have tea and cookies and his staff called my husband to come and get me. He was thorough and had a wonderful bedside manner. I have referred several people to him. Hurry to go see him because he will retire soon.

Dr English operated on my right foot in 2005. No complications and I found him very helpful. He even caught on to my sense of humour and was one ahead of me Would recommend him to anyone needing his services

I've had 2 surgeries with Dr. English. He is an amazing surgeon with a gentle, kind manner. He is VERY thorough in his examination, his surgery, his follow-up (he actually called me at home to check on my pain) & his attention. Because of my wonderful experience, I've sent a number of other people to see him. They all have been greatly pleased - with him, their surgery & their results. Like all specialists, waiting times are long (bring a book), but he's exceptional and he's worth the wait. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. English to anyone. Get him before he retires because once he does, we will be in trouble finding anyone to compare.
