Laurie has been my doctor for awhile, and for the most part I really like her, but I find it absolutely rude and disrespectful when she is always late. She'll send you to her office, then yak with staff while you sit there waiting (once, nearly an hour) within earshot. Please don't waste my time.

I think Laurie is a good doctor, knowledgeable and helpful. She can be short but she's busy! If you NEED her, she would always make time for you.Her Puntuality however needs alot of improvement, I once made the 1st appointment hoping to get in-get out. I could hear her down the hall chatting with people for 50 minutes I waited! That was pretty rude. Aside from that I really think she is a good doctor. Dr Tessler is THE WORST! You need to diagnose yourself, at least Laurie is helpful and has never had a problem with sending me to a specialist.

I have never been afraid of a doctor but I am of tis one. Unfortunately you do not have much choice in this small town where no one is taking new patients, and I need some meds. (thyroid) However not only does this doctor pry into your private life without reason, god forbid you disagree with her. She insisted I break uo with my boyfriend, of whom she did not approve for personanal reasons. She insisted I take some meds and refused to presrbe others. Geeez. I'm afraid of every visit I have to make. Putting yoursef in her hands means your life is not your own anymore. Once she punishe me for being 10minutes late by cancelling the appointment, although she can keep you waiting for whatever length of time. Well with a word limit lets just say....if you can go to any other doctor in town..do it.

I found her very good at first and now she seems to be too... casual about serious test reports. I have to argue with her to see specialists, she is not too keen on refering to anyone. I wish she would not bring her personel problems to work.

she is very knowledgeable and helpful, very punctual and always called you with test results (good or bad) I like how she tells you how it is and gives you the best options for your treatment

Very moody and hard to talk to. Certainly does not like it when you ask to see a Specialist or a second opinion.

I wish she would get rid of the "GOD" syndrom. She should take time and listen to her clients. Lorie was excellent at the begining but now it is like she does not have the time for you. Mebee has too much on her plate. I feel she is getting more difficult to even talk to. She is very defenceive and will argue with you about seeing a specialist about different things. Again the "GOD" syndrom. She is starting to over prescribe when she does not know what she's dealing with. I could say more but E-mail is very cold and unpersonal.
