:( Click to report rating    1/28/08 2 2 1 Had a compression fracture to my pelvis in 200 Went to D'Auria for "non-surgical pain relief" Had no choice but to take off underpants to get trigger point injections (did no good whatsoever). Asked him (D'Auria) why he was "squeezing and grabbing my buttocks? He said it was "so the trigger point injection would distribute itself more quickly in and around the muscles. Sounded reasonable. Turns out D'auria was on probation at the time b/c he had sexually assaulted two other patients. In addition, he and another Dr. Hugo Falcon were essentially greasing each others' palms with PIP $. D'Auria referred patients to Decatur/DeKalb Open MRI (Falcon worked as Radiologist there. Falcon made money by coming up with diagnosis consistent for treatment with D'Auria for "reading the images" D'Auria then used up the rest of the PIP money, falsified records to indicate patient was cured and had a pain level of 0 and then would farm patients out to somewhere else if patient complained no relief.

:) Click to report rating    11/18/07 3 3 5 Dr D'Auria was very thorough with helping with my back following my car accident. He also referred me to another specialist concerning my headaches. He and his staff were very professional.

:( Click to report rating    3/30/07 2 1 Avoid. I was made to feel that he was too busy to give diagnosis, yet there were no other patients in office. All conversations were conducted in hallways as he rushed out of exam room when questions were asked. The entire staff seemed like they were in training or had just started. Very poor patient care and disorganized.
