I have been seeing Dr. Tavenor for 3 months & I was totally dissatified with last visit. For Tavenor to suggest a non-existance infection in my mouth is causing me to burp the most horrendous stink ever, is absurb. I have no infection in my mouth or teeth, and these rotten burps are coming from the pit of my stomach, not my mouth. I do have crohn's, although he never suggested this may be the cause, nor offered to run any tests to find out. He did not look into my mouth for sign's of any infection, but gave me advice on how to take care of my mouth & teeth when this occurs again. Give me a break, I am a 46 year old woman who knows how to brush her teeth and take care of her mouth. For him to suggest this was very embarrassing for me & he will never get the chance to do this to me again. If he is not truly interested in diagnosing underlying problems in everybody, he should send them to someone who will show the interest & spend the time to find out instead of giving them baggy answers.

I've been a patient of Dr. Tavenors for 18 yrs. First time he treated me, I was 16 - right to this day he has treated me with the same respect...He has helped me make good decisions and has always cared, very thankful for doctors like him.
My Husband & I were vacationing in NL , my husband had a heart attack, Dr Tony Tavenor is everything that a Doctor should be, he is very clever, takes his time to listen and answer questions, has good bedside manners as well as a great sence of humor. The care my husband recieved as a patient was excellent ,NL is so blessed to have doctors like Dr Tavenor.
I have been a patient of Dr. Tavenor for 5 years. He is an excellent doctor in every sense of the word. He has tremendous knowledge of his area of health care. Additionally, he has a terrific office and bedside manner that never fails no matter what the situation. I think that description after 4 years of care speaks for itself. I only hope he continues to practice in NL.
