13/11/13 5 5 4 5 I read the reviews prior to going to my appointment today and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was friendly, they were punctual, the person who did my allergy testing was very nice and yes, so was Dr. Chad. He was professional, thorough and pleasant. In order to compile your history, he asks questions while entering responses into the system as well as his comments. I was given a copy of this at the end of the appointment which I find very beneficial. I have seen many doctors in the past five years and Dr. Chad gets a much higher rating than most.

02/08/13 1 1 1 3 Terrible office and doctor, every trivial communication or paperwork takes at least 4 weeks but sometimes up to 2 months! Unhelpful unaccommodating, would not deal with again. Go to Dr Yang (yangmedicine.com) instead.

12/06/13 5 5 5 5 Maybe things have changed in the last couple of years, because unlike several other raters, I found Dr. Chad to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. He does type on his laptop while talking to you but that is to develop a comprehensive description of the problem, diagnosis and potential remedies. He was punctual, his staff were all pleasant and my allergy issues were resolved. I have no complaints about Dr. Chad nor his staff.  Respond

03/05/13 3 5 5 5 Doctor Chad is the first doctor who could explain my problem. I had it during 12 years and nobody could even figure out a diagnosis. I had a few times falling unconscious and never knew why it happened with me. As soon as I told doctor about this problem he immediately wrote a prescription for portable anti allergic emergency injection.

10/07/12 1 5 5 5 Succinct & straightforward, perhaps a bit dry, but he seemed as though he cared to find the problem and gave me lots of advice. Seems extremely knowledgeable & suspected that I have health issues beyond allergies (as I and my GP also suspect). He ordered tons of bloodwork regarding that so I can bring the results to my other specialists. Yes, he spent the majority of the appointment typing into a laptop, but he spoke to me while he did so, & instead of expecting me to absorb all of the info he was telling me, he gave me a printout of all of the info he typed at the end of the appointment. I was extremely grateful for that. HOWEVER, the office staff are extremely unhelpful. They don't answer the phone & I highly doubt they check the messages. I left several messages requesting info (e.g. approx how long the appt would be, if I could drive after, etc) & received no replies. A few days before my appt, I received a snarky call asking me to confirm I'd be there (I already had, 2 wks prior).  Respond

07/03/12 3 4 3 3 Went to this Doctor the first time, he seemed to rush through the appointment and kept typing in his laptop. I felt that I had no time to explain things on the first appt. Even the staff was little rushy and didnt explain the breathing test well to my son, but kept saying he is not going to do it correct many time.  Respond

Every time I started asking a question, he dismissed me mid sentence and insisted on medication without even bothering to hear my question or attempting to explain anything to me.  Respond

22/09/11 3 3 1 2 We finally moved to a different doctor. I appreciate he might know what he's doing, however his demeanor is incomprehensible. He once insisted we hadn't seen him in over 2 years when in fact we were in his office 6 months prior. Very condescending and insensitive in a people facing position. Staff are generally sour as well, most likely from putting up with him.  Respond

09/06/11 4 5 5 5 Very good doctor! He took enough time to answer all my questions and concerns. Now, concerning his remarks about cats, I totally agree with him: if you suffer from allergy or asthma, you need to get rid of the all the allergens, and that includes cats and other pe(s)ts.  Respond

06/06/11 4 5 4 4 The reviews had me a little hesitant, but I thought Dr. Chad was quite good. Yes, spends a lot of time looking at the laptop. He's entering history and data in real time while you are talking. I am ok with that. I found the entire first appt quite efficient and effective with the consult, testing, and followup all done within 1 hr. Admittedly, washing the cats might not happen :)  Respond

14/04/11 4 5 4 5 Dr. Chad is very forthright and as noted does not have a warm fuzzy manner. The technician was extrememly pleasant, as were other members of staff. I found him to have a very dry sense of humour. About washing the cats...we also received this instruction and asked for details: washing means wiping the cats fur with a damp cloth or paper towel a few times each week. Our youngest daughter has taken on this task and one of the cats really loves it. We think it destatics her very static-y fur.  Respond

The test really speaks for itself, so there's no need for huge in-depth conversations. (People like to think they're special, but you just have allergies.) Dr. Chad is not warm and fuzzy; however, he is an excellent physician, and my daughter is healthy because of him. He makes it clear on the first visit, if you are not ready to follow the rules (no smoking, no pets, no carpets, etc) find another doctor. I have no complaints over how he treated my daughter or myself.  Respond

The alarm bells were going off for us when the good doctor immediately started talking about drugs and puffers...he had not even done the allergy test at that point. Prior to Dr Chad we had a doctor that did not take the time to explain things to us or gave us advise that could have been detremental to our daughter's life. Because of the previous Dr. we could have killed our daughter. Dr Chad as been very helpful while at the clinic and also have given us resources to keep our daughter healthy and alive! She has severe allergies to peanute, tree nuts and fish.  Respond

Advice like "wash the cat several times a week" is completely useless - even the most devoted and organized family could never attempt to wash a cat (!!!!) on even a weekly basis.  Respond

30/09/09 2 4 1 2 Very poor service. He doesn't take the time -nor interest- to look at the patient's eyes while they talk (he only sees his laptoop's screen), he interrumpts a lot, doesn't like questions, and seems to be in a rush always.  Respond
