02/09/13 5 4 5 5 dr wood has been my doctor for 4 years now. he is great. always refers me to the best doctors if i need anything. he cares about his patients. the wait time is a but long until you go inside to see him, but he is very busy. His staff on the other hand are unhelpful and rude. I was told by many doctors that they are terrible at faxing referrals and files.  Respond

10/04/13 5 5 5 5 Dr. Wood is the best doctor in the world. Listen: he is a natural healer. He was born to be a doctor he is that good. I have been going to him for over 20 yrs and will continue. Even though I had gone to him for an unrelated issue , he immediately saw that I had hypothyroidism and he saved my life with this diagnosis. Even my pharmacist said my life would have been shortened without his skillful diagnosis. He is always on time, explains in detail everything and has the best laugh . Its a pleasure to see him every time. I enjoy the entire practice. The receptionists are lovely and helpful and Maureen the Phlebologist is the best! I give Dr. Wood an A++ Anyone who is his patient is blessed!

01/06/12 4 4 1 3 I have to agree with the people who say he never looks you in the eye nor does he seem to care. I had a great doctor (Dr. Mory Gutman) for 15 years but was forced to find a new doctor when Dr. Gutman was forced to close his practice. Despite my inital misgivings I went to Dr. Wood for about 3-4 years. He is not approachable, he rushes through your appointment leaving you with questions. When I complained to Doctor Wood about something that I felt was unacceptable, instead of addressing my concerns, he just told me that if I didn't like it, I should find another doctor. I will! I do NOT recommend this doctor.  See Responses

05/07/11 4 5 1 2 Dr. Wood has been my family's doctor for 14 years and I go to the clinic before I go to him. He won't look you in the eye, he always rushes me out of the office and doesn't really listen. When he listens to my chest he is already moving the stethoscope before I have inhaled! Unbelievable. His wife is amazing...really cares and listens.  Respond

07/03/11 4 4 3 4 I have never seen him with a Palm Pilot in the 15 years I have known him. He may be quiet and seem distracted (he's shy) but when you have something wrong, he springs into action like no other. He also does not prescribe medicine lightly so this idea that he is 'dr.drug' is ridiculous. All in all, he is there when it counts and isn't that what we want from our doctors.  Respond

09/11/10 4 4 4 5 I was not impressed with Dr Wood when I first started going to him. He seemed to be quick and abrupt. One day when I was fed up, I questioned him about my symptoms and treatment in more detail and now we have a great doctor patient relationship. It was just a matter of figuring out how to communicate with each other. Always has the time to explain things and i never feel rushed (granted I want quick simple concise answers and get out quickly).  Respond

16/08/10 4 4 5 4 Our family has been seeing Dr. Wood for about 10 years. He has always been very helpful, refers to specialists as required, and always takes care to read back through the file before going forward with any tests, treatment, diagnosis, etc. We have found him to be approachable, open to discussions and knowledgeable.  Respond

08/04/10 3 4 5 4 Dr. Wood has been our family Dr since I was a little girl. His smile and laugh always hemps me to feel better. I have read reviews that say he writes a prescription for anything. I disagree. I have often gone in wanting a prescription for a self diagnosed issue and he always seems to say "it's a virus". As frustrating as that is, I have never had to go back to get an anti biotic as he is right and it does go away on it's own. Recently I had my baby in for wheezing and he did get her in an anti biotic and two puffers. To be honest, I would rather her on meds (even if she may not need them) than not on them and her situation worsen and become life threating. Dr. Wood is in my opinion, an excellent Dr. and a great man.  Respond

10/03/10 1 2 2 2 This dr. has been my GP for over 20 years. Thank goodness I found a new dr! Dr. Wood rarely looks you in the eyes (but rather at his palm pilot, which is telling him what he can prescribe), and no matter WHAT your condition, you will always leave with a prescription. I call him "dr. drug lord". Sorry. His wife, on the other hand, is very proactive with her patients and seems to truly care (her name is Dr. Coman-wood...in the same office)  Respond

05/11/09 4 4 2 4 - It appears that Dr. Wood rather be some place else than with his patients. Hurried, bare minimal response and leaving you with lingering questions. I would not recommend this Doctor.  Respond

24/10/08 2 2 2 2 I've had Dr. Wood as my Dr. now for over 20 years. All I can say, is that his palm pilot tells him what to do...before you finish explaining your problem, he has a prescription ready to go. I would not recommend him unless you want to develop a drug problem. sorry.  Respond

01/02/08 5 5 5 5 I have been seeing Stuart Wood for more than 15 years and he is awesome. I went through a stressful situation at work a few years back and he would sit and listen and offer his opinion. He does not have this "Godlike complex" that so many doctors seem to have these days. He's like your average guy who you'd love to sit down and have lunch with and have a very fruitful conversation. When he refers you to another doctor or clinic he tries to let you know what to expect before you go.  Respond

14/08/07 5 5 5 5 Dr. Wood, husband to my doctor, Lori Coman-Wood. When Lori isn't available I go to see Dr. Wood. He is equally as understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable as his wife... minus the hugs of course. Another excellent doctor! Thanks Dr. Wood. P.S. You two are extremely lucky to have each other. Take care - with love.  Respond
