3/12/12 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr. Rielly saved my life and I will be forever grateful for what he has done for me. When I was 12 I found out I had scoliosis which was incredibly terrifying. He eased my worries and helped me through all my fears along the way. My curve just before I had surgery was a whopping 84 degrees and was beginning to effect every aspect of my life. Dr. Rielly fixed my scoliosis and now I live a full and active life. He is a wonderful doctor, knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. | Respond |

6/3/11 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | This doctor saved my life 8 years ago. He was called in late at night for emergency operation after I had fallen ill due to a hip infection. He saw me through two weeks of hospitalization, another surgery, and now up to 8 years of patient visits. I don't think I've met a more caring, competent, professional, legitimate doctor as this. I emailed him about some university questions out of the blue and he sent me a detailed, thought out response within a day. He's so personable, so trustworthy- me and the family have been incredibly blessed to be under him. God bless | Respond |

1/10/11 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 5 | This is the worst specialist I have encountered. My daughter has been seeing him for 10 years, enough! We are looking for someone with a bedside manner and who doesn't book a year in advance. The secretary is a disappointment. Took us a couple years to convince her my daughter was a patient there! For 8 years! | See Responses |

2/23/10 | 4 | 3 | 5 | 5 | Was very impressed with Dr. Reilly. He is probably one of the best surgeons in Vancouver, if not the best. My daughter had total knee reconstruction 1 1/2 yrs ago, and the post-op still continues, feel well looked after. Very warm and friendly. | Respond |

1/12/10 | 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 | I dislocated my knee in Grade 10. I went to childrens hospital and Dr R. treated me. This was my first major surgery and was a traumatizing experience. However, I felt comfortable and at ease in the hands of Dr. R. My first operation was quick within a week or so. I have had two operations (acl reconstruction and meniscus tear) under the hands of Dr. R and have had no complications or complaints. I have never been able to personally thank Dr. R as I have been transferred to another doctor since I am now an adult. Dr. R. was a doctor that pushed me and helped me through the recovering process. He clearly explained to me what was going the operation consisted of and what he would do. Dr. R. is an excellent doctor and I would recommend him to anyone! | Respond |

5/18/09 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | There are few doctors that are as gifted as this man. He's been my daughter's ortho doc for 10 years, and last month performed a spinal fusion on her. Thank goodness for his skill, we feel he saved her life, a difficult surgery and amazing results. It's hard to put your child's life in a doctor's hands like that, but do it without hesitation with Dr. Reilly, he knows his stuff and cares deeply about the children and their families. He knowledgeable on the latest information as well. Thank you Dr. Reilly, for making Holli's life so much better! | Respond |

3/29/08 | 5 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Excellent surgeon. Kind, caring, empathetic. Great rapport with children. Know several people who have had their children have surgery with this gentleman. Dr.R. did become the 'head' of the department for good reason! Keep in mind public, that in offices at Children's the Drs. HAVE to hire unionized workers whom the DOCTOR has to pay. ONLY problem is contacting the office. HUGE problem. Understandably, with only 1 receptionist (FANTASTIC lady), answering the phone would be a F.T. job. HOWEVER, one needs to be able to get through, and using a fax not always desirable. SUGGESTION: Install a line that is for messages only, inform people of an 'average' time they can expect to be contacted!! IF the doctors do not read these, perhaps clients using these sites might suggest them at their appointments..NOT just to the receptionist, to the DOCTOR!! | See Responses |

6/24/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr Reilly operated on our little girl in December of 2005 for a spondylethesis in her lower spine and we found him to be very helpful with all our concerns & questions. He also took extra time on the day of the surgery to correct all the nerve issues that our daughter had (Friday Dec 23) . I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Reilly to anyone concerned with thier little ones care & recovery | Respond

6/24/07 | 1 | 1 | 1 | Operated on my daughter's femur in 2004 when she was hit by a car. He put metal in her femur which fell into her knee cap. He never took responsibilty - I had to change surgeons, my daughter would have been better off without his surgery which made her injury WORSE. After he ****ed her leg he would not fix or respond to calls. Dr. Tredwell at Chidren's took over and was 100% BETTER. Too bad he retired. Good luck to anyone who falls under his watch! | See Responses

4/18/07 | 5 | 5 | 5 | Dr Reilly operated on my daughter with very impressive results. We had gone to Los Angeles to seek another opinion and were told by a surgeon there to come home and have Dr Reilly do the surgery. I always found him to be honest, thorough and has a great bedside manner, especially with the little ones. My only problem was not being able to leave a voicemail message. That may be different now, as it's been awhile since I saw him, but an amazing Dr ! | Respond

3/27/07 | 4 | 5 | 5 | Excellent, helpful doctor. My son had the minor surgery he needed in less than 3 weeks after his office visit. We had spent a month previous to seeing him being misdiagnosed by 2 walk-in clinic doctors, who insisted that he had a plantars wart as opposed to the metallic foreign body in his foot that he actually had. This doctor has a kind and gentle manner with children, and I have nothing but praise for him. | Respond |
