This intelligent young doctor recently opened an office in Corner Brook. I went to him for six months while he took over for my doctor who was on maternity leave. She is an excellent doctor too, and I would never leave her, but otherwise I would definitely want to go to Dr. Wadhwa now that he has opened an office of his own here. I had recently been diagnosed with a chronic condition right before my own doctor went on leave, so I was concerned about how the replacement would be, but I needn't have worried. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes time with his patients and really cares about them. He considers the patient as having a say in his/her own treatment and care. My mother died during the six months I was seeing him, and he made a point of asking how I was dealing with that loss. You could not find a better doctor anywhere.
