he is just awesome. takes exactly as much time as is needed, he values punctuality and professionalism over stroking gabby egos. I think all doctors should take a page from his book.

I always find Dr. Acevedo to be very kind and friendly. He is never rude and always ask about my family during every visit (they are patients of his also). I never have to wait too long to get in to see him, usually a half hour tops. Overall he's a good doctor who cares!

At the onset, he seemed more concerned about getting to the next patient than he was about hearing what was wrong with me. He seemed very rushed, even though he was not behind schedule - he was writing a prescription before I had even finished telling him what was wrong. He didn't even really tell me what he thought was wrong. He also stated that he would only deal with one concern per visit, so if had two concerns, I guess that means I can take another afternoon off work and drive to his office so he can address my second concern. I can understand a physician not wanting to get into two time-consuming procedures in one appointment, but this literally would have taken 2 more minutes in addition to the <5 minutes he had already spent with me. I won't go back.

I think Dr Acevedo is a great doctor! Hes seen my girls for the last few years and since moving out of the province I miss him as a doctor hes always made my girls very comfortable In the time that hes seen my daughters Ive never had any problems with him as a doctor I think hes great.

Great doctor, that takes time to listen and assess medical problems properly and doesn't jump to conclusions. Would recommend him to anyone.

I am actually surprised that he has this good of a rating. I dont find him to be the greatest. And I know at least 4 people that would never go back to him again. Miss diagnosed them!one had kidney stones and another had cancer. I was also told not to get to excited about being pregnant last year. He told me because it was my first pregnancy that it could be a miscarriage. He didnt even want me to tell anyone that I was expecting!!! I now have a healthy 9 months old daughter.

I trust Dr. Acevedo so much, all my family are in his hands. He is always concerned and takes the time you need. Always there to listen and give results. He is the best Dr. I have ever seen.

Very terrible bedside manner. Two years ago he was the doctor that confirmed my pregnancy (I was 34). He confirmed that I was pregnant, but told me not to get too excited that many women my age have miscarriages and he spent the next 15 minutes discussing miscarriages and problems with pregnancy. I was a basket case. Well my son just turned 16 months and is quite healthy. He's also prescribed wrong dose medicines to my sister's children. Very unreliable doctor, I've heard at least 5 cases of wrong dose medications....he's a quack.

Did not like this Dr. at all. My son who is 9 was in to see him for a bad cough and when he went to check his breathing he asked "whats wrong with his skin". When I told him that my son has eczema he said "well you should put cream on it" DUHHH!!!! Not nice. My son was very upset and still covers himself up now and that was 2 years ago. Stay away.

Very knowledgeable and had a genuine concern for my son Mitchell. He even went as far as to show us different ways to check his breathing and to properly check his heart rate. I would recommend him to anyone but especially if you have children. Mark Peddle

very thorough and concerned for patients wellbeing which is a drs job...not worried about rushing off to see the next patient and making $$...i have found dr acevedo one of the best drs i have visited in a long time..after suffering through an eye infection for almost a month and 4 drs later i went to see him on a whim...i was at my wits end with the eye irritation and was afraid my eye was goign to be damaged...4 drs couldnt help me at all but within an hour of seeing dr acevedo my eye was much better...i recommend him to anyone...
