11/06/13 3 5 5 5 Dr Saran has been my Doctor for nearly 8 years. He has always taken the time to hear me. He has worked with me on several problems I have had from ankle and knee problems to osteoarthritis. He is far from a pill pusher and has always suggested physiotherapy for me to work through my issues. Friendly and smiling I have never had a bad visit with Dr Saran.  Respond

10/03/13 3 2 1 3 Depends who you are when it comes to this doctor.I personally don't like pompus, ego filled just out of school types. If he helped one doesn't mean he can help all. It is a personal opinion. He is a pill pusher. There are ways to heal without drugs. Especially the life changing medication he plays with. Don't like him and would never recommend him.  Respond

18/10/12 4 4 2 2 I saw him after I hurt my knee at soccer. He said I have a torn meniscus and to take 2 weeks off. I did and he cleared me to play after that I went to my premier practice and kicked the ball and my ACL snapped. I went through the MRI and surgery was fine. Now knowing more about knee injuries, you need surgery with a torn meniscus and the rehab for that is a month not 6 months which I had to do. I continued to see him after my apps with my surgeon were done and at 4.5 months of a 6 month rehab he cleared me to play after I repeatedly told him I wasn't at 6 months. I played a game and knew I wasn't ready so I took a month off then went back for my follow up and explained it all again about waiting the 6 months he said that was just a time frame and I am strong enough to play, to not worry and didn't understand why I wasn't playing.I played a week before my 6 month mark and retore my ACL and I now need surgery again after I took the precautions to not and he did not see that at all.  Respond

18/07/11 1 2 1 1 A WCB doctor. Works for insurance. If you are on MPI claim or fighting WCB run like hell - you won't get anywhere helpful with this man. People I know that have seen him - made them worse. And when they got worse - he ignores you and tells you to get on with life. Grab your file from that establishment and see what is in there. You might be surprised at the outright lies!  Respond

26/08/09 5 2 2 3 went in about a knee injury. was helpful one the first visit. on the follow up seemed to get angry when i said that it had got worse. told me to just keep oing the stretches and it would get better. pain got so bad that i could hardly walk and my knee ended up giving out on me. went to the pan am. I had a serious knee injury and if i had it taken care of properly when i first went to see Dr. Saran I would have maybe needed a brace and minor surgury not the major surgury i am facing in two days.  Respond

19/06/09 3 4 5 4 I disagree with anyone who says Dr. Saran doesn't give treatment and says "it will heal on it's own." I'm 26 and had a serious injury last year. He followed up regulary, prescribed me meds, also gave me a support device. I've also seen him for other injuries and he has provided a prescription when needed in addition to exercises to help the injured area. If he didn't give you anything, there was obviously no need for it. He's one of the kindest, friendliest doctors I've EVER had! Excellent bedside manner. Always shakes your hand when he walks into the room.  Respond

02/07/07 2 5 2 2 I saw Dr. Kanwal regarding a broken bone in my foot. He put me in a cast for 6 weeks, and saw me for a couple followup appointments. He said it would continue to heal itself, although there was still a lot of pain. He did not recommend any type of therapy. 6 months later, still feeling a lot of pain, I went to the Pan-Am clinic, and they found a chip in the bone that was previously broken. I now have to go for further MRI scans, and possibly surgery. I do not believe in Dr. Kanwal's 'just go away and it will get better' approach, as it clearly is not the right approach when there are futher or underlying issues.  Respond

18/05/07 4 4 5 Nice, happy guy with a great bedside manner. Very young. Seems to have a wealth of knowledge in his noggin. Very accommodating when asked for asked for further explanation. My only issue is that the guy speaks SOOOOO fast. You feel like you have to speak fast to keep up with him. Other then that, I agree he is one of the doctors with the best patient rapport I have seen in a while.  Respond

10/04/07 5 1 2 He is Doctor Do Little. His approach is that spinal and bone structural problems heal themselves without intervention. He doesn't believe in orthodix or other support devices. He doesn't believe in prescriptions. He doesn't believe in chiropractory. He basically says "Just go away and the problem will probably take care of itself." That's fine to say when you're 30 years old and in excellent physical condition as he is. But when you've had a lifetime of neck, back and hip problems that have only gotten worse over the years, his Do Nothing approach is of zero value. He might be a good doctor for people who have no medical problems, but if you have bone/muscular problems, find a doctor who's willing to do something.  Respond
