Performed Somnoplasty and nasal surgery to remove Polups and opened up nasal passage to treat Sleep Apnea. I was originally considered mild sleep apnea before surgery and used a CPAP machine. My normal sleep specialist does not do the Somnoplasy and is mormally not a believer in its effectivness. I saw him 7 months later and had a full sleep study done again. My follow up appointment he had a hard time admitting the proceedure worked but I now have a apnea less than 1 time an hour which is well below normal and I no longer need the CPAP machine. Dr Ummat is great, and never makes you feel rushed or pressures you to make a decision. I would recommend him to anyone! Insurance did not cover only the Somnoplasty, the nasal surgery was covered.

Dr. Ummat recently received his Doctor's Fellowship. His skills & manner are remarkable. I have had facial injuries, dizziness and sinus problems all of my life. Dr U & staff gave me the full treatment: they reconstructed my sinus cavity. For a serious outpatient surgery, they all were spectacular and healing was profound (I suffer from an immune disorder). And hey, I can breathe again!!! Thank you Dr Ummat!

Dr. Ummat is extremely nice and very knowledgable. He tells it like it is, but with tact and consideration. He is also an awesome plastic surgeon. I had a cancerous cyst removed from (a large area of) my face and he didn't leave me hideously disfigured!!! He is wonderful!
