27/10/12 2 1 1 3 Saw him for consult regarding TKR. He stated I was too young and too overweight. Fair enough. However, I did not appreciate that after he examined me and asked his questions - and had each of his residents do the same - he stood out in the hallway discussing the details of my case with them in PUBLIC; everyone else in the hallway could hear it as I could from inside the exam room. When one of his residents said "But the patient said regarding exercise..." he replied "The patient will tell you whatever they can to get what they want." WHAT??? Is that even remotely fair? The implication to the residents was that ALL PATIENTS ARE LIARS. He easily could have confirmed my claims with my family doctor, but instead chose to insult my character. My family doctor even suggested I report him to the Canadian Medical Association! I declined because I knew, given the fact he supervised them, his residents would have to support him, not me, even though I was honest! Avoid this self-gratifying man!

27/09/12 5 4 5 5 Assessment in February 2012, followed by pre-habilitation exercises to prepare for total knee replacement May 7, 2012, and more rehab after. Very impressed with entire experience and fast recovery. I know it is important to be proactive. I am very grateful for the fine care.

13/06/12 3 2 2 3 Not sure what all the hype is about. I did not care for him as a doctor at all. Had a very long wait, got shuffled from room to room. Finally when I did get to see him, he was very cut & dry, contradicted the initial assessment by one of his assistants. Questioned me, but really didn't listen. I need a knee replacement. But was told I have to wait more than five years. But, he will see me in six months. So, now I have to try & see someone else. I can barely walk from my front door to the sidewalk. I will not see him again. It was a complete waste of MY time. I was very disappointed with Dr. Adili.  Respond

25/04/12 5 2 5 5 You will always have a long wait to see him, and once you get to your app't another long wait. In my opinion, I would sooner wait for the doctor that everyone wants to see, and who is constantly delayed due to consultations in ER or the phone, than the doctor that can see you right away because no one else wants to see him!!!  Respond

05/03/11 4 2 2 2 Even though my hip was in pain and I had been walking incorrectly for over half a year, he refused to give me any sort of hip surgery. He also ridiculed the research that I had done. Eventually I found another surgeon to do the necessary surgery.  Respond

04/11/10 5 5 5 5 We cannot say enough about this amazing Doctor. Jokingly, I asked if his mother drives him to work, as he looks so young. Do not let that fool you. This mastermind, is top in his field, and we are ever so greatful to have him here in Hamilton. He is praised not only by the patients, but by his piers, for his undying desire to learn, to teach, and to make every effort to ensure his patients receive the very best treatmetn possible. Thank you so much for Mohammed's new knee, see you next year, same time and place for the other.  Respond

14/05/10 5 2 4 5 Dr Adili did THR on my right hip in February. The results were incredible and beyond my expectations. Pain gone instantly. Frustrated that have to wait for my knee to be looked at because it is holding me back and cant use hip to its full potential. Can't wait till August appt to talk about getting my life back..with TKR. Great surgeon. Surgery date was 2/9/10  Respond

03/02/10 4 3 1 1 Saw Dr. Adili for a hip injury... I had femoral-acetabular impingement, a torn cartilage, a bony growth and rheumatoid degeneration - he was intimidated by my other health issues, so he said that all he would offer me was a cortisone shot... He also did the hip exam and my jeans were too tight for him to bend my leg up to reproduce my pain... I found another wonderful surgeon, who on the first appt., stated that I clearly needed the arthroscopic hip procedure and was a good candidate for it... After 22 months of suffering with hip pain, and Dr. Adili turning his back on me, (picking and choosing what types of cases he wants), I had my surgery in October of 2009 and was back to work in one week - haven't had any pain since. Have not recommended him to anyone.  See Responses

12/11/09 5 5 5 5 Re post for wait x's...Dr. Adili is worth the wait! I can't say enough on how he changed my life! He has it all; knowledge, personality, professionalism, excellent surgeon, caring and dedication. I had bilateral TKR and have a new life. I saw 2 other docs before him and it was worth all those years of pain to end up with Dr. Adili!  Respond

17/02/09 5 5 5 5 Just an all around "good guy", not pretentious, personable, and very educated in his field. Has a very high reputation at St. Joe's and MacMaster hospitals. He was great in my operation, I had to be awake and talked the whole way through, but he was patient and made me feel very comfortable. A super person and a great doctor, I can't say anymore about him that would make him better than he already is. I was lucky to have him and his team, and Dr. Hickey, who has the best smile ever!!
