It's like having won a lottery to have Dr. James West as my doctor! He is a very dedicated and caring Dr, who relates very well to his patients and listens. I thoroughly trust his diagnosis'knowing that he has taken my health & best interests to heart. I feel so blessed to have him as my Dr again! I hope he doesn't retire until he's 95..and only if he has to! :-)

As a woman, I was nervous about having a male doctor perform examinations but Dr. West was very conisderate and made me feel very comfortable. He also LISTENED to what i had to say and answered all my questions.

There is no better doctor - punctual, friendly, knowledge, caring and never rushes you. Wish he could be cloned and spread throughout the country.

Fantastic..you couldn't find a better doctor!! I found myself without a GP when mine lost her liscence. I answered the ad in paper when he was looking for new patients and I am sooo glad I did. There isn't a better doctor on the planet. I had been suffering with a MAJOR health problem and was almost bedridden.(at least it felt that way)5 months later, I'm good as new.

The kindest, nicest, most knowlegeable doctor around. He WANTS to be a doctor and a good one and I know he's not just in it for the money!!! Everyone loves him.

Simply the BEST! My sons and I are extremely happy that Dr. West re-opened his practice! He is a kind, gentle, understanding and knowledgeable physician. My prayers have been answered!

Dr. West always treats you as though you are the only patient even if his waiting room is full. He listens to you and does not rush with you, and is not reluctant to refer you to a specialist as are some GPs. He has a good bedside manner and is well liked by all his patients- old or young. He makes good decisions in the treatment of his patients.

A truly fine Physiscian. My husband saw him in the Emergency Room on an urgent basis. He moved fast to insure the proper tests and referrals were made. Excelent care. A month later he called our home at nine o'clock at night to check on him...(remember just a patient he saw in ER. A fantastic caring Physician!!!!!

I was with another Doctor in Grand Bay, and Thank God Dr. West came back into practice. I have now transfered back to Dr. West and with one visit he has already helped me with 2 items of discomfort. Thank You for returning.... I was getting worried for my health with the other Doctor that I had before.

Had Dr West before he closed his practice. When he re=openned it he was only taking patients without doctors but agreed to take us as we were having such a bad time with our GP. He is not afraid to refer and available on short notice when something is wrong.
