:( Click to report rating    8/15/08 1 1 1 Very disappointed in treatment. The appointment was to go over my lab results for my thyroid. She could not find my lab results and therefore it was a wasted visit and my money!! She then told me she would call me and go over my test results. Never received a call. I also waited in the office forever for her to show up. She always seems like she is in a rush. She does not seemed concerned about the reason why you are there. I just feel like a number. I'm not happy with the first diagnosis and then shame on me to go back for the follow-up which I feel she did not even go over my results. I feel I'm not on the correct meds/dosage. DO NOT go to Kamath. You will be wasting your time and money. Go to someone who really cares and knows what they are doing!!!!

:( Click to report rating    3/21/07 4 2 Examination cursory, doesn't take any time to understand what the nature of the problem is. Seems to be constantly rushed. Rattles off treatment plan and there you go. Appointment over. Quick on suggesting some pretty strong drugs without really knowing the nature of the illness, but failed to suggest doing strip testing for glucose level at home, which is really critical (and basic) in diabetes care. Thankfully, I've learned about this from "Diabetes for Dummies" that doctor had in her waiting room. I did not find her helpful.
