15/03/12 4 5 5 5 Dr. Olson is the friendliest, most considerate doctor I have ever met. He explains everything in 'down to earth' terms and never seems hurried. He respects his patients. When he is talking with you, you don't get that typical feeling of being talked AT that you get with most doctors. I would highly recommend Dr. Olson.  Respond

28/05/11 5 5 5 5 My dad diagnosed with Merkel Cell Carsinoma, just had surgery yesterday. I came in from Vancouver to be with him and was amazed with the standard of care he received from Dr.Olson. He made a terrible life event more manageable. He is a highly skilled, kind, and compassionate doctor. While waiting during his surgery we had the opportunity to chat with some other patients families and they experienced the same incredible treatment. If I ever had to have surgery I would somehow arrange to come back here to Alberta to have him.  Respond

23/01/11 3 5 5 5 I have met Dr.Olson first time last week for a breast lumpectomy. I felt very at ease with him and I followed everything he explained to me as if I was a three year old and he is so professianal. I was so scared of the surgery but after meeting with him I felt like I could totally trust him and hopefully my surgery scheduled for the February 2011 will hopefully go well.  Respond

30/06/09 5 4 5 5 I had met Dr Olson in an emergency situation back in February of 2009 and had to have surgery immediatly. He is the most caring and knowledgeable Dr. that my husband and I have met. He literally saved my life from a very chronic bowel problem. After Surgery the care I am getting from him and his staff during my recovery has been amazing. He always puts a smile on your face no matter how you are feeling at the time. Tracey Baggs  Respond

28/05/09 5 5 5 5 I can't say enough about Dr. Olson. I recently had surgery. I am terrifed of hospitals. He came to say hi before the surgery. He makes you feel so comfortable. He takes time to talk and answer questions. Makes you forget what's going on around you. He is not like talking to a Dr. He is like talking to a friend that cares. He explains everything very well. Dr. Olson is 1 in a million. I can't thank him enough. Not only do I feel better. I totally 100% trust him.  Respond

15/01/08 5 5 5 5 Dr. Olson was a gift from God sent to our family. My son had chronic vomitting form 22 months. We spent countless hrs. in Emerg for almost two years with many wrong diagnosis, My son was diagnosed with cyclic vomitting syndrome, migraines of the stomach, week spleen, physcological problems all not true. He was treated in Emerg for dehydration and sent home. Never with a diagnosis. My son lost 40 lbs, couldn't work, couldn't go out with his friends. He had no quality of life. My only hope was prayer, which I did every night and by the grace of god Dr. Olson came into our lives. He was quickly diagnosed with a rare syndrome called Wilkie's Syndrome. Something apparently so rare that Dr.s didn't even know what they were looking for. Dr. Olson Operated on my son In August 2007 and since then he has been on the wonderful road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Olson for being there and for your knowlege. Our family appreciates everything you have done for us.  Respond

26/03/07 5 5 5 I was referred to Dr Olson for a biopsy of swollen lymph nodes. Right from the very first contact with his office, I was very impressed with how respectfully I was treated. At my appt, he was punctual. Dr Olson had done his homework and had obviously already put thought into my case before seeing me. He was prepared! He examined me fully. He asked many questions and actually listened intently as I answered. He gave me the opportunity to ask everything I needed to. He made sure that I understood everything he was thinking with regards to my case. I have never felt that respected in a doctor's office before. He sent me for further tests and now I'm booked to see him again. Everytime I speak to his assistant, she is so considerate and accommodating. Everyone at his office makes me feel like I'm important and that my health matters to them. I'm certain they treat everyone that way. I am confident that I am in very goods hands. I recommend Dr Olson very highly.  Respond

17/03/07 1 1 3 I was referred to Dr. Olson by my family doctor for some minor surgury consultation. He is very good at explaining the problem I had and the surgical procedure that I needed. After answering the questions that I had for him, he made me fell so uncomfortable and actually scared about getting the the operation done. My gut feeling was, man all this guy wants to do is cut me open. I left and never even bothered to call him back.  See Responses
