:( Click to report rating    6/28/09 1 2 1 My wife and I left her office after taking our daughter to see her in total disbelief !! How anyone like this can be in her profession and treat her patiets with such contempt is unbelievable. Never again !! Arrogant, unprofessional and lack of empathy only scratches the surface in regards to this lady !!

:) Click to report rating    4/5/09 3 4 5 Very professional and helpful. She won't be the Dr. that chats with you for a long time, but she has been very straightforward, practical and efficient. I have always found her to be friendly and approachable.

:( Click to report rating    3/16/09 1 1 1 I haven't been in to see the doctor yet and can only pray that the experience will be better than my brief telephone conversation with her receptionist. What a rude and unprofessional person. This sort of person should not be working with the public, and especially not in an industry that is 'supposed' to be catering to people in need.

:) Click to report rating    2/23/09 5 4 5 Amazing doctor - I have a minor ear problem, that if left uncared for causes be some grief. Dr MacCallum takes a proactive approach and sees me every 6 weeks to ensure that everything is fine. She takes the time to answer all questions.

:| Click to report rating    2/17/09 3 4 2 She was very good at communication and finding a solution, but she is not very patient with children. She didn't take the time needed to make my daughter feel comfortable. Was a frustrating experience.

:) Click to report rating    1/25/09 5 5 5 My daughter has a tonsillectomy and her adnoids out in April of 2008. The doctor was very knowledgeable and even though the appointment was a fast one she determined that the best approach for my daughters health was to take her tonsils and adnoids out and hope that her health would improve. I was willing to try anything at that moment considering that my daughter had a cough on and off since she was born in june 2005 and was in 2 different kind of inhailers. The point I couldn't take it anymore was when she was sick and had a cough for 8 weeks and had a hard time to breath in the middle of the night I took her to her family doctor and got a referreal to MacCullum within 2 weeks and 3 weeks after the appoinment she had surgery and went very smoothly and recovery was a bit longer but am so glad we decided to go throught with it as now my daughter is EXTREMELY healthy and "KNOCK ON WOOD" hasn't been sick or caught a cold since! THANK you so much to Patricia MacCullum.

:( Click to report rating    9/11/08 1 1 1 I have no idea how knowledgable Dr. MacCallum is, because I saw her for about 1 minute in the Moncton hospital ENT clinic. That was three weeks ago and nothing has been sent from the hospital to my family doctor. I am now trying to get referrals from her suggestions, but can't get any help from her office. Her receptionist may be the most miserable person I have ever had to deal with in the health care field.

:) Click to report rating    8/5/07 5 5 5 Dr.Patty MacCallum is the best. She saw my daughter in 2002 for her throat, after I had seen numerous Dr's for a her constant coughing, and sore throat, disrupting her sleep and her kindergarten classes.Patty sent her for allergy tests, something other Dr's would not do....ruled out allergies, and decided to remove her tonsils, which were huge.My daughter was able to go home same day, with no problems!Awesome Doctor, awesome person.Genuine caring.I have referred many people to this great person.

:) Click to report rating    6/19/07 5 5 Very knowledgeble and confident. As to the comment regarding shortness of visits in regard to tubes that can easily be explained by the fact that the procedure is very routine, there just isn't much to talk about.

:( Click to report rating    4/18/07 3 1 I have to say that i had the most impersonal experience with this doctor. She belittled me and in effect made me feel as if I hadn't been taking proper care of my child. Trying to contact the office is by no means an easy task. I had called for two days, calling so often that I couldn't even keep count and not only did I not receive an answer, I didn't not get any of my messages returned. To close I wouldn't say that any of this has anything to do with her knowledge and expertise in her field, I just dont' think that her beside manner is all that it could be and that sometimes things don't go perfectly.

:( Click to report rating    4/13/07 4 2 Patricia seems very knowledgeable in her field, however, our appointment only took approx 7mins, and I wonder if that can be a true assessment to gage tubes for a 3 year old boy. The only question we were asked was "how many ear infections in a year", and then told he was a candidate for surgery. I think the patient/doctor relationship is lost with such quick appointments, and that is how mistakes are made.
