Most dentists are competent professionals. Many of them can even provide "almost-pleasant" experiences for those who are not keen on things like needles and drills. Then there are the rare few like Dr. Bob Quigley: a skilled gentleman who actually cares what his patients think and have to say. My first experience with a dentist, 36 years ago, was with Dr. Quigley. Over the years, he has taken great care of my teeth, crowns, roots and all (with a couple of fairly serious sports-related traumas thrown in there). I am glad my three-year-old's first time in the dentist's chair was with Dr. Bob. He has earned an A+ in my book, and I will miss his services when he retires.
Did a total gingivectomy even though I asked him not to.I asked him if he really had to do a gingivectomy not to do the gums in front but to only do the back. I found out through a another dentist that it was totally unecessary and that he should have referred me to a periodontist. He will never know the anguish that he put me through and to find out that it was all unnecessary.
I had negative experiences with this dentist. I would not recommend him to anyone. He made me a denture that did not fit and would not remake it or refund my money. He overcharged me for the service anyway. I never went back.
Dr. Quigley is a gentleman, doctor and a caring person. He has made a calling to help others a lifelong commitment. His patients clearly come first.I dread the day he retires, because then where will we(his patients) go. Also, his staff are as deaticated as he is and they work well together like a well oiled machine. It is easy to see he is a good person to work with there is very little turnover in his staffing and there are always smiles to greet you when you enter.
