:) Click to report rating    5/23/09 5 5 5 Saw him last Tuesday after finding him, in part, because of this site. Smart, thoughtful, kind and very prepared for your visit is the way I would characterize him. I left his offfice knowing what he was going to do and what I should do. I told him right after his examination that noone had ever examined me as thoroughly as he did. Highly recommended.

:) Click to report rating *  9/27/07 5 5 5 I had read the earlier reviews of Dr. Skopicki before my first visit, and figured he could not possibly be as good as the other raters had indicated. He is better. The least rushed, most personable, most thorough physician I have ever encountered. He not only answers all your questions, and takes time with you, but while he examines you he explains the purpose of each test and maneuver and what he is looking for and what he hopes to learn. When he sends you for outside tests at the hospital he explains why, and then carefully, slowly takes you through the results. My average wait in his office before a nurse or technician saw me was less than five minutes. His staff is almost as good as the doctor. Unbelievable good experience from beginning to end that may force me to change my generally negative expectation for every visit to some new healthcare provider.

:) Click to report rating    9/27/06 4 5 I can not say enough good things about Dr. Skopicki. He explains everything in the beginning. How he is going to try and help, what the medications are for and how he will try to improve the function of the heart. I felt confident leaving the office and even better after a week of following his instructions. Their whole staff is great, especially his nurse Michelle. If you want to see a really great cardiologist, he is the one to see.
