Dr. Caines was very helpful and attentive when I had seen her at Oromocto ER. The waiting room was full and I saw her at the end of what must have been a brutal day. She had my potentially serious problem sorted out in ten minutes, after my having wasted a great deal of time and several visits with my regular doctor, and two different clinic doctors. (not to mention lost wages in a single income situation). My overall expectation of doctors has been raised because of that encounter. I would like nothing better than to be a regular patient. People wonder why folks go to the ER even when they sometimes have access to a G.P., in this case I would say the reason is obvious. Thank You for rising up to the challenge and responsibility of your position with grace and fun Dr. Caines. You are an asset to our community.

I do agree Shelley is rushed in the Er. I thought all Drs where this way as my family Dr is also rushed. Since I have moved to PEI I am so impressed with the time the Drs over here spend with you and make you feel asewsome. I do have only good things to say about Shelley. I am always impressed with her Dx and bedside manners. I will she her aorudn towns and she will talk with you. This lady is an awesome Dr with great potential. It is my belife that Oromocto needs to be Thaks full she has choosen to pratcie in our commuinty. :)

Have seen this doctor twice for my daughter. No bedside manners. In a hurry to get to the next patient. Talked alot about her own child. Didn't feel that she really cared about my daughter and our situation.

I have seen Dr. O'Blenis-Caines a few times in the ER and have never had any bad experiences with her at all. She's been awsome anytime I've dealt with her.

Very helpful!!! My child was ill and Dr. Caines waisted no time in ordering the tests that were necessary to treat my child.She explained everything very clearly. She is a very professional and caring doctor!!!!!

Dr Caines was my MO for 6 years, so I have seen her many times for myself, and also on occasion in the ER with my kids. I think she is a wonderful doctor!! I have found her nothing but friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Even though I like my new doctor, I definately miss Dr Caines!!

I wish I could say something positive, unfortunately, I have had several bad experiences with this doctor. The few times I have seen her, I left feeling as if I was disregarded as a patient. I found her to be either extremely high-strung and unfocused on the reason for my visit,or very withdrawn and distracted to the point I felt she was not listening to me at all. I have heard too many stories about her daughter... yes, she talked about her and her sports with great disregard to my own situation. No one wants the ER doctor to be a "friend", merely a professional who can help. Like most people whovisit the ER, I have a young family and cannot always see my family doctor at the last minute... I don't consider myself an abuser of the system but when the little ones are sick, you need to be seen. I wonder if this doctor has ever considered another profession, one where she doesn't deal with people too much. I am sure she would be great at something else.

This so called doctor was at the emergency room when i brought my daughter in, she had hives.Well this doctor would not even come near her and did not examine her but gave her steroid which the only thing they did was make her gain weight but did nothing for her hives. not very satisfied with her bedside manner also, she just wants to rush you out too.

I had to go to another doctor because she wouldn't send me for tests that were required to treat my condition. I have heard a lot of people complain that she doesn't take things seriously and she rarely sends people for testing!

Not someone I would recommend anyone going to. She has a terrible bed side manner and is always in a hurry. She doesn't seem to be too knowledgeable on medicine at all. I had a lot of questions and she couldn't answer anything for me. I ended up having to go back the next night when someone else was on.

Dr is always in a hurry. She has the script pad out as she is entering your room. Seems to know what she is doing, but in a hurry to go somewhere
