I went to seen this doctor twice and he didn't seem in the least interested in taking a history or asking any questions about symptoms. When blood work showed low thyroid, he didn't do any followup tests, suggest any referrals or offer any information about the disease, just wrote a prescription and didn't suggest coming back to make sure it works. When I phoned back later to say I would like a referral his secretary was rude and insisted that I would need to come in to "discuss" it with him. Just another money grabbing doctor. There are far too many of them in this province.
Dr. Chkipov is very gentle and kind in manner. He seems reticent to recommend courses of action which a patient might undertake to improve his own health, however, and has only referred when asked to do so. Had to track down what I needed on my own, and then request it. He agreed and complied, but I wished he'd taken a leadership role.. would have gotten answers/help much sooner.His waiting room is tiny, and privacy is an issue.
Dr.Skip is a very good Dr., for being in Terrace. He's very friendly and listens well. If you think you have a problem he does his best to help you with it and correct it. Hard to find good people like him.
