I consulted with Dr. Tabbal about a revision rhinoplasty. Every doctor in New York says he is the ultimate authority for nose surgery in the nyc metro area. I had a bad rhinoplasty ten years ago that left me with a short upturned nose that looks ridiculous, especially for a guy. I was hoping Dr. Tabbal would be able to rotate my nose down and make it look more masculine. Dr. Tabbal was very nice and straightforward during the consultation. He admitted very honestly that fixing short noses was not his specialty and recommended me to another doctor who has more experience in the area. He thought I would need a rib graft and that he doesn't really do that kind of thing. Overall, I thought Dr. Tabbal was nice and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I didn't have surgery with him, but I feel comfortable recommending him for a consultation. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to facial surgery. Not a complete waste of $200 for the consulation.

Dr. Tabbal ruined my face. I have a rhinoplasty w/him to correct a collapsed bridge. That's all that needed to be done. During surgery, he broke the bridge of my nose w/o my consent, he cut my columella and the muscle that moves when you smile, he made one nostril smaller than the other, the tip crooked, and the nose somehow curved to the left after surgery. It changed the entire look of my face and smile. My nose is so short, I don't look like the same person. He was unapologetic and stopped talking when I started taking notes at a follow-up visit. He said, 'you had a masculine nose, now your nose is feminine. I'm sorry you're unhappy.' He did what he wanted to do during surgery ignoring what we had discussed needed to be done before surgery. It's destroyed parts of my life and I've had to have two reconstructive surgeries, costing over $37,000. I still don't look the same and I wish I had never heard his name. Run from this doctor.

Dr. Tabbal gave me the nose I always wanted after my first rhinoplasty with another surgeon was disappointing. I dont understand the negative comments. He is a man of few words, but strangely very warm and caring. I really trust his eye for beauty. Highly recommend!!!!

I had an awful experience with this doctor. His bedside manner is undesirable. He did the opposite of what was discussed. I have a C shaped nasal bone along with a perforated septum. My is low and thin almost non existent, while my tip ls a fat shapless ball, with one nostril higher than the other. I dont know how he can do this to someone and tell them its a good result.

I am very surprised to read some of these reviews. I went to Dr. Tabbal after my first surgeon did not deliver the results I wanted. Dr. Tabbal not only delivered results- he delivered the best nose for my face. He also corrected my sister's nose. I highly recommend Dr. Tabbal- he is THE BEST rhinoplasty surgeon.

I wanted a chemical peel and he insisted I needed a full face lift. 6 mos later , my face is lopsided , my ears are crooked and I have extreme burning and prickly on my face. he's insensitive, nasty and refuses to refund my money despite a report from my neurologist. If the outcome doesnt turn out well, his attitude changes,Big mistake !!

Tabbal doesn't have the best bedside manner when you first meet him, but after you get to know him he is very sweet and caring. He is very precise and takes a lot of time on each nose. He did my nose 3 months ago and I LOVE IT! I was deciding between him and dr. Aston, and i am so glad i went with him. When i first met him he scared a bit with talks of a cartlige graph, but it all ended well. AND I LOVE ITT!! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

I went for a consultation and all he did was tell me how fat I was and to loose twenty pounds then he said he would give me a face lift. I didnt even come in for a facelift. I think he is an arrogant arrogant man. Really nasty

I had my nose done with him about a year ago. I only have good things to say about him. From his amazing staff to his excellent bedside manner. I asked for a natural nose, one that suits my face and that's exactly what i got. I highly recommend him!

OMG! he ruined me. my nose looked better before he operated. I didnt expect perfection but I didnt think he would leave me deformed. I have to come up with over 20 k to have it fixed. He doesnt want to hear it even when I showed him all the doctors I went to and their notes. He has a terrible bedside manner . He a has been and should consider retiring. I wish I never went to him.

I need complex revision surgery using rib grafts thanks to Dr. Tabbal. I now have collapsed nasal valves that impair my breathing, deviated septum, misplaced grafts, asymmetrically broken nasal bones & a drooping tip. Also, my nose looks extremely unnatural. Dr. Tabbal's response was: "I cannot help you... Thank you & good day" & then he walked out of the room.

Four months ago I had a lower bleph. He took out too much fat and cut away too much skin which resulted in what doctors call "Bloodhound Eyes" or sclera show. ( whites of the eye) My lower lids droop and my eyes do not close fully when I sleep. This has led to extreme dry eyes. This is one of the hardest procedures to correct. He refuses to refund my money denying any fault on his behalf. Tabbal the Terrible . Terrible surgeon. Terrible person.

Am I happy I find this website. I had an appt with him last week, and he refused to listen to anything I said, he does what he thinks is best regardless of what you want. He refused to show me any pictures. He was very cold when I didn't agree with him. I booked with another doctor.

he turned my straight nose into a twisted nose. He shattered my nasal bone which cant be fixed with corrective surgery. He's jekyll and Hyde. turned Nasty and unapproachable after victimizing me!!

Dr. Tabbal was an incredible surgeon. He is an artist and an expert in his field. He is one of the most highly regarded cosmetic surgeons, especially for noses; I can't understand the other reviews on here. I know many people thrilled with his work, including myself. My nose came out wonderfully, and he truly changed my life! I couldn't speak more highly of a person.

Dont waste your time with him, he doesnt listen to what you want, he doesnt want input from the patient and tells you straight out,, "dont tell me how to micromanage your nose" besides he dont show pictures. terrible personailty
