i'm post menopause. went to see him to discuss why i'm still getting hot flashes while on hormone therapy. he prescribed a heart drug, didn't even take my BP. I have no history of heart disease. Made me wait for 45 min. for this. I've seen him twice (no more!) and now wonder if he actually ever studied medicine.

I have been a regular patient of Dr. Ibrahim for a few years as I could not find another doctor that was accepting patients. He has never made any attempt to get to know me, understand my medical concerns or be polite. The wait time even with an appointment is always at least one hour, the doctor does not read your file and he has completely unacceptable bedside manner. He shows no empathy, makes you feel like you are wasting his time at every visit and I have never met such an unhelpful doctor in my entire life. I will NEVER return to his office particularly after the last visit when he told me completely contradicting medical advice to two other specialists. I do not recommend this doctor for anyone.

My family went to see this doctor a few times and every time it was a disappointment. We made an appointment and waited almost 2 hours to get in, because he overbooks to get in as many patients as possible! Very disorganized, unprofessional and unhelpful staff. He over prescribes medication to get you out the door quickly to move on to the next patient. Will NEVER go back to this clinic!

This doctor is too quick to prescribe medication without helping the patient undestand what is going on and what the options are.

Great doctor, was caring about what I had to go through and helped out when no one knew how to help me. He saved my pregnancy.

My experience with dr Ibrahim was quite good. It is hard to tell for sure after only 2 visits but I was treated promptly (with prednison tabs worth 10 dolars). He refered me to neurologist - just in case and specialist himself was surprised how fast I was free of symptoms. Dr Ibrahim was courteous and professional. I would not label him as bad doc.

I have been in to see him as has my husband. We have been given perscriptions that were not needed. The kicker here is I just took my 8 month old daughter who has a floppy airway as it is. I was told by him that my Dr did not know what she was talking about she had bronciolites not a floppy air way. He gave me a $150 inhailer script. She is 8 months old! That left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be going back to see him or any other Dr in his clinic. I will wait to see our family GP instead! I would even wait the 7 hours in the ER then go and see him again!

When this doctor could not find out why I have severe pain after an injury...duhh! He ran out of options and told me to go see a shrink. He treated me so bad with disrespect everytime I went to see him because he could not help me. I needed a caring doctor more than medication. Smiling and compassion and respect can take half the pain away.

Saw this doctor once and it will only be once. I waited for about an hour in the exam room. He came in and was angry at me because at one point I opened the door to the room and looked around as I had been waiting so long. I needed a prescription refill and that's all. Wouldn't do it as I have a regular doctor. I explained that my doctor was on medical leave. He only refilled one of the prescriptions saying I didn't need the other. This guy should be working in a carwash, somewhere in the back.

I have not had any problems with him. He refers to specialists when necessary. He listens and shows genuine concern. He's got an ENT background which really helps when treating my allergies. I am a health care professional and have worked with many doctors. He is one of the better ones.

I was diagnosed incorrectly with gout when I did not even have any of the precursors to this illness. He did not listen to me and his diagnosis was not even close to the real truth. Thankfully, I knew his diagnosis was incorrect and I chose to seek a different opinion.

Completely misdiagnosed me. If I had followed the treatment prescribed (gut told me not to listen) it's quite possible he could have done permanent harm. I didn't follow his treatment but believed him when he told me I didn't have appendicitis. Hence I waited 5 more days only to be hospitalized because I did have appendicitis which had ruptured and I became septic.

i would not recommend this doctor, which is a shame, as GPs taking new patients are very hard to come by in port moody. this dr. has repeatedly misdiagnosed me, and incorrectly prescribed medication. to top this up, his bedside manner is poor. my sense is he's quick to get you in and out, and even quicker to write a prescription. i have heard this repeated by other patients and even our local pharmasist. if it weren't for the diploma hanging on his wall, i would be very inclined to question whether or not he actually holds a degree in medicine.
