This doctor does have a wealth of knowledge, but she keeps really poor office hours, poor service with staff, doesn't spend enough time with patients which makes her very unhelpful.

I would like to say that Dr. O'Leary is a godsend. I live in Fredericton and I am pregnant for the first time. Around 14 weeks (and after 2 appointments), my Dr. in Fredericton still hadn't performed many of the routine exams and tests necessary for a pregnant woman. I was extremely upset because there are no other Dr.'s in Fredericton taking new patients. I am originally from Woodstock so I felt that was my only option to get proper medical care. Dr. O'Leary didn't know me, but agreed to take me on and do all of the necessary tests and then refer me to the Obstetrician in Fredericton. She was absolutely wonderful -knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. She explained about the genetic tests that can be done (which my previous Dr didn't) and really made me feel at ease. We were able to listen to the heartbeat (even though the previous Dr. said that can't be heard until 5 months at the ultrasound). I am so thankful that Dr. O'Leary took the time to help us out.

When my son became ill she was with us very step of the way.She treat her patients as people and not number. She goes above and beyond for her patients and their families.I thank God very day for and the help she gave my son. I could never really express in words how much is has done us and simple Thank You would never begin to really express it. Thank you and we love you for for caring,understaning,and your ability to show your patients that they always come first.

Too bad she is so busy. I am getting up in years and definitely heavier than I would like to be but I feel very unfairly treated to have been left with advice to lose weight rather than to have been listened to when I wanted to discuss troubles I am having with headaches. I do not for one minute believe they were from my weight nor my age. But, now that I realize she doesn't like to treat 'fat' patients unless they lose weight, I will not be back.

very plesant and efficent always easy to talk to and if necessary sends you elsewhere for a second opinion.She had my husband in to see a cardiologists in Saint John in less than one day.Best Doctor in the area

Having a teaching practice seems to have taken the care and compassion from being directed at the patients and directed it toward worrying about making sure the student learns about these 'cases' (no longer patients). After being treated like some kind of case study I would no longer recommend this Dr.

As a doctor, I think she is the best. I have small children and she really shines when it comes to children's and women's issues. I have to say, though, that one of her office staff members is extremely rude and unpersonable. Whenever I need to make a quick appointment, she goes on about how booked they are, and pushes me to go to outpatients. Dr. O'Leary herself will give me her ER schedule so I can at least see her when I do go there. I'm not sure what this staff member's problem is, but I am treated horribly every time I go. I wish she would give up the notion that she is Debi's Gatekeeper and needs to protect her from us evil patients who dare to request some of her time. Time to retire, lady!

Dr. O'Leary is the best doctor I have ever had... she is thorough, kind, conscientious and knowledgeable. I have always been able to see her on short notice whenever an emergency arose and she has always monitored my health through follow-up appointments and tests. Even after I moved from the Woodstock area I chose to travel a relatively long distance to see her because I cannot believe there could be another doctor whom I would like as well as I do her.

To me she will always be a very special doctor she was the only doctor that did blood work that found that I had a heart attack and sent me to Saint John,NB in three days and I had a stint Thanks DR, Debi O'Leay God Bless

I have had Dr. O'Leary as my Doctor for 12 years. She is the sweetest most caring Doctor I have ever met. When my infant son was sick earlier this year, she not only perscribed exactly what would help him but she also scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure he was doing alright. I trust her with not only my health but the health of my 2 children.

Never have to wait more than a few minutes. If I am urgent I am seen quickly. Always answers my questions readily. Staff is courteous and efficient.

always running behind on appts; takes several weeks to get an appt; doesn't follow through on what I ask her about and makes me feel pushy when I keep asking and her secretary makes me feel like I am being unreasonable when I ask to get in sooner etc
