Saw Dr. Da Silva for several years, not seeing her now only because I moved away. I found her very focused on my visits each time. She is genuine in her concern for your health. I always admired that she did not have a problem admitting she did not know about something. She had no problem investigating it in a book right in front of you, or even referring you to someone else that specialized or had knowledge in that area. Any issues you had she was focused on getting to the bottom of it. I appreciated that she was not a pill pusher, if a change in your lifestyle is what was needed, she would tell you. It can be a little frustrating at times because she works a limited work week due to her young family, but I think that keeps her more focused on her work.
Excellent Doctor, good at details. She is practicle, well balanced and completely focused on your visit. Possibly a reduced work week means a more functional Doctor.
She was only working 2 half-days per week when I was a patient - it took forever to book an appointment, and staff were always trying to get you to see her husband instead. She wanted over $700 to review my medical file, because I was ex-military, and she thought they'd pay for it. Then she wanted me to pay for a "functional review by a physiotherapist she would "recommend". In any case, I was able to become a patient of another doctor, and was happy happy happy I did!
