We lost our son to cancer in Feb.2009. Although it was terminal, he could possibly be still with us if it hadn't been for wrong diagnosis by this doctor for over a year. That is excusable at the onset, but not listening to many symptoms not related to the diagnosis is not! All he would do was prescribe more & stronger pills.

I have been seeing Dr Dabbs for well over 10 years. He treats me very well, but I am certain it is because I am a good looking women. He treats my brother very poorly and has hit on my mom and myself on numerous occassions. His Current receptionist is the worst he has ever had. She is very rude, does not listen, and has yelled at my brother and chased him down the hall. I continue to go to this doctor not because I like him or the service but because it is impossible to another doctor in Prince George.

I am very grossed out by this doctor, not only has he yelled at me, and he yelled at my son to "shut up" when he was trying to explain what was ailing him after a car accident. He has made creepy comments and is very moody. I was back and forth to this doctor for several years, he would roll his eyes when I explained my situation and made me feel like an idiot. I was finally given an xray on my coccyx (tailbone) and it was fractured with some degeneration, It took 6 years from the time I first complained, I should have had a full CT scan but again he thought I was dreaming I also have fibromyalgia and/or a chronic pain condition which he has the least clue about. I have had to ask for medication that I have researched for the condition, I have had to ask to see a specialist, he is not taking me seriously and I am surprised I have made it this far with the chronic pain from tailbone to mid back. To go from being extremely athletic to almost disabled is not humorous in my opinion.

I have been going to Dr. Dabbs for over 10 years and he has been nothing but great to me and my family. My grandma also went to him and he would come to the her house on his own and after hours when she was too sick to come into the office. He tells it like it is which is great, I would rather hear the truth than have some Doctor beat around the bush.

Dr. Dabbs was very knowledgable about our health issues. He made an effort at follow-ups. And his secretary Antonella always managed to squeeze us in at the last minute.

I have found him to very informative and helpful in my dealings with him, and he is very good at explaining what is going on. He has been courteous and polite and I have never had a problem with him in my numerous times in his office. I'm not speaking for all of his patients, but I know of 3 other people that are very happy with the services that he has provided. He has been my primary care-giver for 7 years, and I have been very pleased with his bedside manner. He does not hand out prescriptions easily, and makes sure that I am well informed of why he will or will not prescribe medications at the time.

This doctor has been disciplined by the board of physicians and surgeons and has had numerous complaints against him. He acts inappropriately towards female patients and it's shocking that he is still practicing.

Dr. Dabbs was the doctor called in to deliver my 2nd child by my regular OB. Our first impression of him was good, but over time it changed. I was sick when I was set to be induced, but he went ahead with it anyway. He broke my water even though I asked him not to. When it was time for my epidural the anesthesiologist refused to do it because I had a fever from being sick. I got stuck on the maternity ward sick with my water already broken. He was late for my next round of induction, missing the entire thing (in fact I don't think he was there at all). He had the epidural turned off when I was ready to push, it was extremely painful when he inserted the suction cup, the baby's shoulders got completely stuck, he cut a huge episiotomy, did not numb me when he sewed me up despite my asking him more than once to do so. Cut the chord before the baby's shoulders got stuck, we were concerned about brain damage at that point. It took him 3 hours to get to the hospital to discharge me.
